I ordered this product for delivery because I cannot find it or similar product to purchase locally. Because it is a liquid, it is obviously heavy, so difficult to send through the mail. In a previous order, it arrived without difficulty. This time, it was so poorly packaged, that all of the individual packages were ripped and the bottles were scattered through the box and dented. It also got lost and took more than two and half weeks to arrive. I will continue to look for a local source so that I do not have to order this kind of product by mail. The product itself, though, serves my needs for a high protein, flavorful, drink to use for breakfast smoothies.

I bought this Carnation product because I could no longer purchase the Ensure Active High Protein Chocolate drink that I had been using. The Carnation product is acceptable, but not nearly as flavorful as the Ensure Active High Protein Chocolate drink. Also, the Ensure product has 25 grams of protein, whereas the Carnation product has 15. For 14 oz., they would probably be similar in terms of protein content, but I didn't want to start using half bottles. I found a generic version of the Ensure Active High Protein Chocolate drink and will try that as long as I can find it available. Not sure why Ensure discontinued this product. For either, I would prefer to purchase locally rather than shipping something so heavy, but I ordered it online only when I could not longer find it in local stores.

I was happy with the flavor and the after-taste as I didn't get the chalky feeling. I was also happy that the additional protein stayed with me longer than some drinks I've had. It was funny to have " chocolate " for my breakfast.....but because it has the extra protein and vitamins & minerals I was willing to do it. It saved me the 30 minutes I normally take to make my eggs.
