I recently took my medium brown hair to dark blonde and thought this shampoo would help keep the color looking fresh. Unfortunately I have to use a large amount of the shampoo each time to cover my head and after rinsing my hair feels like hay. My hair has only felt that bad after using dish or laundry soap on it, so a deep conditioner is a must anytime I use this shampoo. I don't know that I can attribute any positive points about the results to this shampoo, since I've been using deep conditioners with it.

I love this shampoo! I have either colored or
highlighted my hair for quite a few years, and
I have found that this shampoo makes my hair shiny
and the highlights seem brighter! I would recommend
John Freida products to all women especially this

This is an amazing product, although I am a natural blonde I get highlights so that I'm a lighter shade of blonde. My hair is also really dry, damaged, and curly, and not only is it color damaged but it's heat damaged too because I straighten it every day. I've tried so many different shampoos-color, moisturizing, damage repair, curly, and they all pale in comparison to this one, even expensive salon brands. This product really brought out my highlights and made my hair not just shiny but shimmery! It also made my hair silky smooth and added volume. The smell didn't impress me too much in the shower, but once my hair dried it smelled so fresh and clean, like I just walked out of the salon.

the shampoo is good to maintain the look of your highlights in ur hair....it doesnt highlight your hair...its not suppose it jus keeps the highlights from gettin dull and losing the color of the highlights....

I highlighted my hair and, unfortunalely over did it. I used this shampoo and it put a little color on my overbleached highlighted hair. I really like it.

I love this shampoo and the matching conditioner (for darker blondes)! I love coloring my hair blonde and getting highlights and experimenting with different blonde shades, so this really keeps my hair shiny and soft and silky. This shampoo can be drying, especially if you don't use a conditioner, but just use the matching conditioner and it'll make your hair smell so amazing and look so so so so shiny! I love it and will never use anything else.

thi product was nice, i can say it keeps my highlights from looking dull. but don't expect it to highlight your highlights. It is not going to add highlights. It is a wonderful product other than that, it smells really nice!

It doesn't seem to make my naturally blonde hair any blonder, but it does work very well as a clarifying shampoo. I use it about 3x a week in the summer, and once a week in the winter. Usually I can shampoo and not have to use conditioner, but I tend to need it on all but the most hot and humid days with this one because it can be drying. I would only recommend this shampoo for those with normal to oily hair.
