I am 19 years old. I usually use St. Ives face wash but decided to try this out. Tried it out for three days and my skin started to dry out and skin was noticably peeling off. it made my skin itchy and even caused a few pimples and red spots.. i usually never get pimples. my skin type is not even sensitive. Would not recommend..

This product is highly effective. When nothing else would work on my kids' acne, this did. It is easy to use. The only con is that it can dry out the skin a tiny bit, but a light cream like Noxzema, can help with that. This product actually works as well, or better than the leading 'acne medications' being touted as 'the best' out there at a fraction of their price. Great item, will purchase again.

Bottom Line: recommended

Dermalogica works well on my face but gave me a rash on my back and chest, so I use this one in the shower instead. If you rinse conditioner from your hair, better wash it off your back with this to stay clear.

I am 26 years old, with mild/moderate acne, easily irritated skin, and some red marks on my cheeks from past breakouts. This face wash did calm the redness in my face (probably due to the "Soothing Aloe & Chamomile") and the salicylic acid exfoliated a bit, which got rid of a lot of my blackheads. However, overall I felt as though it made my skin too vulnerable and inhibited healing of old acne scars. It also did nothing for inflammatory my acne such as pustules or cysts. I will not buy this again. A better approach, I think, would be a to use a basic gentle face wash and an all-over face lotion with salicylic acid.

This is the best facial cleanser that I have ever tried. I had an unexplained breakout on my face and I didn't know what to do. I tried so many creams and this is the only cream that works. A must have!!!

I'm a 32 year old male who still gets acne. Antibiotics like Bactrin and minocyclene have helped but were too expensive and I hate taking antibiotics. So I've tried various topical over the counter and this product helps greatly because I can just use it in the shower in the mornings and be done with it and most of the time I skip using the benzoyl treatment. I used to get bad acne on my back and shoulders but using this with a benzoyl peroxide treatment after showering virtually got rid of it all.

This one's a keeper, but I believe it'll have to be rotated occasionally to keep my ever-wary acne at bay. I have also seen the over-drying noted in other reviews. After using it, I feel like it is relatively gentle on my skin. One thing, though... Its smell reminds me of an over-chlorinated summer swimming pool. That smell makes me feel like I'm doing something BAD for my skin.
