I keep this by my kitchen sink and just love the scent, (of course you have to be a patchouli lover) Its creamy and rich...the only con is I found it just a tad drying...

It has a strong scent and stays on your hands after you wash them. Make sure you are a patchouli lover before you try this. I loved it but my boyfriend didn't like it too well.

We enjoy this hand soap. As a homemaker I get chapped hands in the winter from frequent washing, and shun synthetic products, but it's been hard to find a truly "moisturizing" natural soap (that's an really an oxymoron anyway). This seems to be a natural detergent rather than an actual castile "soap," and it does still dry hands a bit, but I wash my hands specifically to rid them of food oils and grease! This isn't as drying as the genuine castile soaps I was using. This soap has no synthetic fragrances. It is scented entirely with natural patchouli oil. The smell lingers but I don't consider it to be "strong" - just "present." The aroma is pleasant and herbal; patchouli essential oil is a tonic for the nervous system. It is also a natural emollient, antifungal, and promotes healing of skin by stimulating blood flow (like any mint oil will do). Finally, it is a natural insect repellent - important if you spend time outdoors.

Smells great. Good for summer bathroom scent for extra or guest bathroom. Cute packaging but a little juvenile for most bathrooms.

I buy a bottle a bottle 1-2 times a month, I really like the smell. But to be honest, the last 2 bottles I bought smelled alot more like cedar than patchouli, I hope they didn't decide to change the formula.

I thought I would love this soap because I like patchouli-scented things. This was too much. It made for a good laugh with my guests that day. We all tried it, and couldn't get the smell off our hands (and it lingers!). I wouldn't mind if it were something a bit less musky and deep-smelling. Be sure you don't mind PURE patchouli before buying. ;)

I do not like the smell of this soap at all. It's not very moisturizing, either. It felt very greasy on my skin even when I lathered it up. The only thing I like is that it reminds me of being pregnant, which is primarily when I used this soap.
