I wanted a cleanser for morning and evening that was gentle but effective on oily skin. I like the fact it is natural, and saw good reviews about it, but for me it just was not very effective and I experienced 'stinging' in the eye area. Since you cannot return opened products and cleansers are so pricey these days, I found that I can use it at night before bed after I remove my makeup as a gentle cleanser before my night time routine. I will not reorder as there are many cleansers I have used in the past that are much more effective and not as pricey. I gave it two stars mostly because it did not cause redness or irritation nor was it overdrying and could be considered a cleanser only type product, but for makeup removal, not the greatest.

I use the product twice a day and have for seven years. It is low sudsing which puts some people off but that just means less sudsing additives are in it. I have moderate rosacea and this is the only product I have found that doesn't irritate or inflame my skin. The packaging is convenient. It only takes one pump to wash off a lot of makeup. It doesn't require a separate eye makeup remover ii's so gentle. The pump works until the last bit is used unlike some other products. I hope I never have to look for another face cleaning product.

I so wanted to like this cleanser. It's true, it is thin and doesn't foam, but it removes all of my makeup which is a huge plus for me. HOWEVER, it made my skin very red, dry and tight. I have oily skin, so I was surprised that it got so dry and tight. And the redness would not go away. 2 stars for removing makeup and having a pump that you can 'lock' for travel, but I won't be using it any longer. It's not worth a dry, red face that feels like it will crack.

I have combination skin and find most cleansers either too drying or find they don't clean well enough. Or, they leave a residue no matter how much I rinse. This cleanser doesn't foam, but it does a great job cleaning even the oily areas of my face, and washes off cleanly. A little goes a long way, so don't use a lot just because it doesn't foam. My skin is also pretty sensitive, and this doesn't irritate it at all. A bit pricey, but great skin is worth it!

This product is just awful in my opinion. First off, the pump dispenses the tiniest amount, and since this doesn't foam much for a cleanser, it takes quite a few pumps to get enough product. Next, when you do get enough out, it seems to take forever to get it applied thoroughly enough to get the job done. And then there is that awful taste. If it does happen to get on the lips (one area where it should be cleansing!) it has a very bad taste. I mean really bad. So I use it to clean my makeup brushes.

This product is really great for sensitive skin. I use it when I feel my skin is irritated. It cleans very well. The one thing that bothers me is the fact that it does not foam. I get the impression the product is not working, but once I rinse it off I can clearly tell my skin is cleansed. I suppose it is a psychological issue where I like to see white foam to think a product is working.

I purchased this item based on the reviews and I'm glad I did. It really doesn't foam, and you can't see it, but it is really gentle on my sensitive skin and doesn't irritate my rosacea. I had some dry flakey skin on my chin and near my mouth and it has gotten better. I would have given it 5 stars, but it tends to make my skin feel dry afterwards until I put on moisturizer. I also think you tend to use more of this because it is so invisible.

I have to admit it; this very expensive cleanser is one of the best I've ever used. I have a patch of eczema next to my mouth. It has been irritated for quite some time- I bought several moisturizers and cleansers in an attempt to get it to go away and this is the only thing that worked. It also cleans off my makeup very well. My skin looks great and the eczema is under control! The only thing against this is that it cleans so well that I have to put moisturizer on right away or I feel tight skinned- but my skin is a bit on the dry side. Two stars for expense, but I'd give it five for quality. So I rounded up to a four.

This is the best face wash that I have yet to find. It is a bit pricey, but you can use it twice a day and it will last you about six months. I have very sensitive skin that occasionally becomes red, splotchy and bumpy - possibly rosacea, but not diagnosed. This is the only face wash that doesn't irritate it. It will not dry out your skin or make it oily. And it's not tested on animals! I highly recommend this product to anyone, especially if you have sensitive skin.
