The gel cups kept sticking on themselves when I went to put my shoe on. It was annoying. I found that insoles worked better.

I got these and the Dr. Scholl's Heel Pain Orthotics inserts at the same time to help with a case of plantar fasciitis recently. These don't seem to help much. The other product is far superior.

I think the shock absorbing ability is great. The only thing I would improve is that perhaps if they were a bit more rigid, they wouldn't slip out of place so easily while putting on your shoes. I use them in my tennis shoes and I have to be very careful to place them correctly and hold them with one finger while I slip on my shoes. Otherwise, super!
