This is the best brush ever! Bad reviews are from people who never even used this! Does not hurt at all on scalp, detangles like it has cream rinse in it, glides nice wet or dry!! And my Persian cat loves it as well, had to buy one for her! Ai am very happy I bought this brush and have since bought another for back supply in case!! Recommend to everyone!! Great price too!!

Like others have commented, this brush was a disappointment. It didn't last very long and was not durable. After about a year of minimal use (I own and was using other hairbrushes in addition to this one) this brush began to lose its bristles and the tips of the bristles were wearing off. This was a waste of my money.

I am a busy mom with very thick fine hair. I wash my hair every day, and I am always in a hurry! I have purchased HUNDREDS of dollars worth of brushes, ranging from cheap to the $40.00 range, and never found one as good as this brush. It is nice to finally replace my "old faithful" brush with a new one. I haven't had any problems with it breaking yet, but, I am buying another one just in case!

If this brush is soft as velvet I'm never going to buy velvet anymore, this thing hurts my scalp. My dogs even pull away from it and they liked to be brushed, but now they run.

The part of the brush with the bristles separated from the main brush paddle after just three months. I also tried the Infiniti brush by Conair and it did the same. I tried superglue but it still didn't hold.

With three girls, I have a lot of hair-brushing going on. I've purchased several of these and have had them from months to years. I have not had any problems with the bristles coming out and daughters like the cushioned the bristle bed and large surface. I plan to get one more so they each can have their own.

A hairbrush shouldn't fall apart within 2 weeks after purchase. We're not talking heavy-duty here - this is hair! The section that held the bristles began to separate from the main stem; days later, it was off, the brush now worthless. In my whole life I have never used a hairbrush that fell apart, much less one that was rendered useless with less than a month of use. What a waste of money.

This brush is excellent at detangling long hair --but the bristles keep falling out! The brush is half bare after 3 months' use.

This is an EXCELLENT silver and black hairbrush, cushion style with a soft and comfortable rubberized handle. I received mine today and I like it so much, I have already ordered another one.
