Are you kidding me? I HATE this product. Nobody could pay me to use this. I have combination skin and I use Cetaphil gentle cleanser on my face (and love it), and thought this product would be great to add. It made me break out really bad (and I usually never break out). Also, it left my face really greasy and dirty looking. I switched back to my normal facial lotion- Clinique dramatically different moisturizing GEL. It may be more expensive, but it's worth waking up in the morning with clear skin as opposed to broken out skin with Cetaphil.

I had a really horrible breakout when I first started to use this, which may or may not be related, but the burning feeling after applying it is enough to get rid of a star. My skin looks greasy when I first put it on, but that goes away as it absorbs. The burn sucks though, I wish Cetaphil would reformulate so that doesn't happen.

Sometimes this product stings if I apply it right after a hot shower or after I've been out perspiring in the sun. Try PURPOSE by Johnson and Johnson with SPF 15. It works really well for me and does not burn my skin. Also, for SPF 30, try Eucerin Sensitive skin lotion.

I've been using this product for about a week and have also experienced "the burn". My skin is somewhat sensitive but moisturizers and sunscreens rarely burn (it's usually just cleansers that I'm sensitive towards). I thought maybe I was just allergic to this product, as it's the first time Id try Cetaphil, but then I read these reviews and saw others had a similar experience. I also agree that this lotion leaves your face feeling oily after application and is definitely very oily/shiny by noon. I had a bit of a breakout the day after I started using this product, but that might've been due to monthly hormones rather than the lotion. Prior to this I was using a lotion called Velocity by Mary Kay. It worked well but I was looking for something with an SPF in it. Guess I'll keep looking.

I love all things Cetaphil! I have Rosacea and this is the only product that has helped me. I use it all, facial cleanser, body lotion, facial moisturizer, etc. My dermatologist recommended this product and it has changed my life!

Cetaphil is the only sunscreen I can put on my face! All other sunscreens burn me terribly. My dermatologist recommended this to me and I am very glad it is out there! I use it in combination with Neutrogena's Healthy Defense powder. You will need powder or blotting tissues, as it does leave a shine. But it is worth it.

This is a great facial lotion. It has wonderful sun protection and it has diminished the lines around my eyes. I too suffered from acne, though not severe and this moisturizer has not caused me to breakout. If it makes your skin burn, then don't apply it directly after washing your face with warm water; instead wait a few minutes after washing. I used to use multiple products each day, face wash, toner, day moisturizer, night moisturizer, and eye cream. Now I only use Cetaphil Gently Cleanser and this face lotion twice a day and I have no more breakouts or dry patches of skin. It's worth trying.or dry patches of skin. It's worth trying.

I loved this product until after about 3 days of use I started to notice a TERRIBLE TASTE in my mouth after use. I guess it's the sunscreen, what a shame!

This product is a severe waste of time and money. Within a few hours after applying this product, my face would become incredibly greasy. I would not recommend anyone who has problems with oily skin use this product, for it does next to nothing to help it (in fact, I found my skin looked better when I went for a day without applying a moisturizer PERIOD).
