Burns like crazy!

I have had nothing but positive experiances with cetaphil's products. I have excema, sensitive skin on my body. I have some acne and rosecea on my face. All and all I have extremely reactive sensitive skin. I have to be very careful what I put on. I'm not sure if there's something I'm allergic to in this stuff or what? (But since its cetaphil that should never be a problem!) It feels greasy on, and burns terribly. Save your money ladies, buy olay!

This product used to work really well for me, but the last bottle I bought irritated my skin pretty badly. I have very fair, dry sensitive skin. Previously, this was the only lotion with spf that did NOT irritate me, so it's not a surprise, but definitely a disappointment. The reviews I've read prove that what irritates some people doesn't irritate others, so I would still DEFINITELY recommend this lotion if you're looking for something that sinks in well, moisturizes all day and provides sun protection. Other than the burning sensation, lol, it's one of my favorites.

My doctor recommended this product. I love it. It is the most important part of my daily routine. I put it on my face and put my makeup over it. It keeps me moisturized with clean skin and with SPF. Couldn't be better.

The first thing I noticed about this moisturizer was that it warmed my skin unpleasantly -- in fact, it stung. Applying less and rubbing in more gently reduced the stinging, but I still don't like the sensation. Furthermore, on my combination skin it feels rather greasy, so I can only apply a dot or two at most, which doesn't provide adequate protection from the sun, thereby negating half the reason why I bought it. In all aspects it's been disappointing, and though I like other Cetaphil products, I will not be buying another bottle of this particular one.

I have tried everything for my acne prone skin, dry in winter, oily in summer. This is terrible. I feel like I have slathered oil all over my face and I literally can soak up the oil with a napkin a few hours after I apply it. It's nice going on but then turns me into a greaseball. I don't wear makeup so this makes me look very shiny. Like some of the other reviews, I too, have experienced acne-like bumps. I've been using this for about a month, and will take it back to the store as soon as my new lotion arrives. But, I do love the gentile cleanser.

I was really nervous about trying this. I have very acne prone skin, but it's also very dry and flaky. The Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser is the least irritating cleanser for my skin, and I've used it for forever. But, my skin was still so dry. So I decided to get a moisturizer. As I said, I was really nervous about getting one, because moisturizers have always made me breakout in the past. And some of the reviews for this Cetaphil moisturizer aren't good at all. But I loved the Cetaphil cleanser so much that I decided to give their moisturizer a try. The results were awesome. My skin hasn't felt or looked better in forever. The moisturizer isn't greasy, and it doesn't burn either. It leaves my skin soft and comfortable. It's great too that it has the SPF, because I wouldn't have bought a moisturizer without at least an SPF of 15. I'm so glad I got this.

I have oily skin and not too fond of this moisturizer. Yet my mom paid a lot for this thing so I have to use it, but I really haven't been using it much. I have acne on the right side of my face and I DON'T want to irritate it more by putting this moisturizer on it! And it seems to be greasy to me! My mom thinks that I NEED to use it but she doesn't seem to understand that I can't use it until my face clears up. The good thing is that is has SPF 15 which will help when I go outside. But right now, Im not using it until my face clears up because I will break out more if I put any more of it on.

Bought this product after trying other SPF moisturizers and of course based on the reviews. First time I used it this morning, it stung but not too much. So I thought ok, maybe I have to get used to it first. A few hours later, I noticed little red bumps (like little pimples) on areas of my face that I normally don't break out. Quite disappointed. Will try Olay and see what happens.

I have finally found my Holy Grail moisturizer! I am so glad Cetaphil came out with this new moisturizer (after hearing horror stories of the reformulated cream)! I usually shy away from SPF in my facial lotions because they ALWAYS break me out. But I have started using Retin-A so an SPF is a must. I agree with some of the other reviewers that when I first applied it felt like I put a heat pad on my face. Very strange, but it moisturized SO incredibly well - which is a godsend if you're on Retin-A. It also sank in quickly & my liquid foundation + powder goes on beautifully over it. the "warm" sensation comes & goes (when it comes- it doesn't last long) but I can definitely deal with it since it moisturizes so well, provides SPF protection, & does not break me out at all.

I accidentally was using Cetaphil's other lotion (I guess its for your entire body) on my face for like 6 months! Oopsie. Anyway, that was very heavy, but it did help the dryness on my eyelids and under my eyes. I tried applying this lotion carefully around my eyes, but the sunscreen in it just stings. It makes my skin feel less oily verses the other Cetaphil, but it isn't very useful.
