I have oily skin, and this product which I thouht was light is not that light, makes my face feel greasy, but I got used to it and actually it does quite well mositurizing my skin but the greasy feeling is sometimes unbearable, so I'm looking for other moisturizers that are not so greasy and do the job.

My husband has sensitive skin and breaks out easily. When he saw me using this, he tried it, and his face is still clear. I love the SPF because I'm always getting on him to wear sunscreen. We both love this product and I'm buying it again.

I haven't tried this on my face, because I've read that it's not compatible with oily skin, however it makes a great body sunscreen. I am at high risk for skin cancer, and have done some research on effective sunscreens. Believe it or not, Cetaphil SPF 15 is one of the best sunscreens available in the US. This is because it contains avobenzone (a UVA protective sunscreen) in a photostable formula, meaning it does not degrade in sunlight. Most sunscreens with avobenzone are not photostable. So if you're serious about protecting yourself from skin cancer and the sun's aging rays, you need a good UVA protective sunscreen such as this one. Remember, spf # tells you nothing about UVA protection.

I began using this product about 6 weeks ago, and I love it. I have finally found a face product that actually, slowly takes the fine lines away, keeps the skin moisturized throughtout the day, and is not greasy. I used to use Neutrogena products, but as I started to age, those products did not do anything beneficial. I also have used Cetaphil all over my body for about 4-years, and it's the only product that keeps my skin moisturized.

The reason I bought it is because I like Cetaphil's products. They are so gentle and generally don't have any odor. I will not buy this facial moisturizer again. It smells bad and stings my face a little. And even though I don't get it in my eyes, just having it on my face makes my eyes water because of the evaporating chemicals. I don't think it is good for my contact lenses to be around this moisturizer. I am going back to Neutrogena.

This moisturizer is alright, but leaves my skin super oily and shiny after use. I only use this at night time before bed when it doesn't really matter that my face looks shiny, and my face feels really soft when I wake up. I would never use this in the morning when I have to go out. I love the Cetaphil brand, but this one did not impress. The only reason I'm still using it is because I've already bought it and I might as well. It does a good job moisturizing, but I think I would be better off using a different brand. After I finish this bottle, I will probably never buy it again.

Cetaphil--why would you do this? I normally love your lotions, but I'm on the fence with this one. I have tried numerous facial moisturizers with suncreen. I put the lotion on, and it smelled like 'bug spray'. I looked up 'Octocrylene' in my chemistry database, and sure enought it is an ingredient in bug repellent. In addition, it is considered potentially harsh and dangerous in larger amounts. The Octocrylene percentage is 10% in this product which is the most allowed % additive into consumer packaged goods. This is going back to be exchanged for my tried and true Olay UV Protectant or Nivea Q10 with SPF 15. Cetaphil, you goofed up with this one. Here is my recommendation: Cetaphil keep the 'Avobenzone 3.0%' but replace the 'Octocrylene' with 'Octinoxate 6.0%', which is derived from a plant oil and is not considered toxic or dangerous. I have oily/acne prone skin -- I have tried everything under the sun. My dermatologist recommended the Cetaphil facial cleanser and I tried the moisturizer as well. Even though my skin is very oily, I still get dry patches around my nose. This product helps my makeup go on smoother and I've had no breakouts. It does not add to the shine on my face. I have found that if you have acne prone skin you don't have to use products that say that they are for acne prone skin. Just a gentle cleanser and moisturized have done the trick for me. Plus it has SPF 15, which your skins needs everyday. I feel it has made my pores smaller too.
