I can't imagine what I would be using without this moisturizer. My skin has been very dry ever since I started using acne medications. I picked this up after hearing my family doctor mentioning the brand. I love the fact that it's oil-free and doesn't clog pores, and it absorbs within seconds after I apply it. Some reviews here have said that it's greasy but to me it feels fine. Maybe I just got used to it. It moisturizes my skin well most of the year. I don't get dry patches of skin on my face anymore. For (Canadian) winters it's not quite as good and I find myself having to applying a bit more than usual to keep the skin moist. I guess it's the drawback of being light. The sunscreen ingredient in the moisturizer is Avobenzone, also called Parsol 1789. I don't have a problem with it, but I'm sure there are people out there with allergies to it. If you know you are allergic to it, then don't buy this moisturizer.

I am a true Cetaphil devotee, having used many of their products happily for years. This moisturizer seemed fine at first, but the acne it gave me on my neck and chest was a real surprise. I even gave it a second try after the first breakout healed, with the same awful result. As those of us with sensitive skin will attest: a product is never "non-comedogenic" for everyone.

Cetaphil cleanser and bar soap are amazing. This product was a disappointment. I don't normally have sensitive skin. I felt the burn as others described, and was shocked. I would recommend other Cetaphil products. The sunscreen worked well, but the pain was not worth it.

To my surprise, because I am a fan of the Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser, I was not very impressed with this moisturizer. I felt that it left my skin very greasy and shiny. It did not absorb well at all, my skin felt slick even at the end of the day. I stopped using Cetaphil daily facial moisturizer after the second day although I still use the cleanser. The problem could be that I have combination skin and this could be better suited to dry skin. I'm using Purpose Dual Action moisturizer now, it seems to be okay.

I can't believe how many bad reviews this great product is getting, so I just had to add my 2 cents. All skin is different obviously, so you just have to try this to see if it works for you. I have been using this moisturizer for years now and have never had problems. I even have oily skin. I love the way my skin feels after I use it and think the sun protection is essential. Highly recommended!

I've only used this product a couple of times. It does sting (not burn) your skin for a minute, but that dissipates rather quickly. Overall, a decent facial moisturizer for individuals who DO NOT HAVE OILY SKIN. I still don't understand why anyone with oily skin would be applying MOISTURIZER to begin with.

Not recommended for people with oily skin as it keeps my face greasy all day no matter how much I blot with rice papers. I feel that I have a slick thick face and it's horrible. However, I will say it did not burn and it does not make me break out. I'm just looking for a better product.
