I'm quite slim (115 lbs) but got a lot of stretch marks on the hips from weight swing during teenager (now 20s). I used the whole tube and didn't see any improvement. It's a good moisturizer though. The smell is not pleasant but not too bad. It's also too thick for me. I have to wait a while before I can put my clothes on.

This product will not do anything for the stretch marks. They are almost always hereditary. What it does do well though, is to help with the itching skin. I use it every day and love it. It does not have the awful smell, like may other stretch mark creams do, it goes on easy, it is rich, and it is affordable. But I don't expect a miracle from using it. And neither should you.

This product is good when your pregnant belly is growing to improve skin elasticity and softness. I used it my whole 3rd trimester and didn't get stretch marks on my tummy...but when I used it on the pre-existing stretch marks on my upper thighs it did not make them go away. I continued to use it on my legs for 3 weeks and the stretch marks didn't fade at all. It probably works best as a preventative measure, rather than a solution to rid stretch marks. It did make my belly really soft and elastic, but it does not smell good! It made me nauseas if I used it in my 2nd trimester. IT'S WORTH TRYING TO PREVENT STRETCH MARKS THOUGH!

I used this product during and after my pregnancy. Obviously I had gotten stretch marks or I wouldn't have had to keep on using it. My stomach is still covered with stretch marks til this day. I don't think any lotion will work, because I have tried so many.

I used Palmer's with my first pregnancy and I am sad to say that it did not work for me. I used them throughout my pregnancy and for months after, but I still ended up getting really bad stretchmarks. But I'm not giving up I'm going to try another kind to see if I can minimize them. So good luck, just keep in mind that what's right for someone else's skin may not work for everyone. So I am hoping with this pregnancy I can find something to work for me that's not going to cost me a arm and leg. Good luck to everyone else, though.
