I used this with my first pregnancy. My doc said it was fine to use instead of prescription. I saved ALOT of money on all the copays for the pres ones. I'm not pregnant with my second. They are very easy to take, dont taste bad at all. I could take these daily for life if I needed to

Stuart Prenatal vitamins contain BHT, butylated hydroxytoluene, which is a preservative. There is some controversy over BHT being a possible carcinogen and causing hyperactivity in children. BHT is banned in some countries as a food additive and that is enough for me to steer clear of anything containing BHT. Of the four samples of prenatals my OB gave me, the Stuart brand was the only one that contained BHT! Years ago I heard of the suspected dangers of BHT and at that time I stopped buying dog food which contained it and switched to a natural brand. Over the years we have switched to organic/natural and I have become a better label reader, so when I saw BHT in both Stuart's OTC and prescription prenatals, I was appalled! Needless to say, I will not be taking the 12 days of Stuart free samples because of the BHT. As a side note; two of the four brands of prenatal samples my OB gave me contain artificial colors and I will not be taking those either! Of all the times in my life that I need to make the best choices, this is one of them, and choosing a prenatal which contains BHT or artificial colors, in my opinion, is a poor choice, especially when there are many other brands of prenatals. Just started using the product and it is great. Even able to take without food.

I'm not pregnant yet but these are extremely easy to take and are not too big like other ones i have tried. They don't upset my stomach at all and have lots of the necessary components for a woman's body.

I just started taking the Stuart Prenantals. We have been trying to conceive, so I am really hoping that these give my fertility a little push. So far, no problems taking them though.

I hated these vitamins! Before I got pregnant I was taking Centrum vitamins and then I switched to these when I started trying to get pregnant. They made me feel awful! I was groggy all the time, couldn't focus on anything. I finally switched to Rainbow Light Prenatal because they have more B vitamin and other minerals to keep you going throughout the day. I will say the pills are quite small and tasteless, which was the only good thing about them.

I LOVE these vitamins!! Every other brand I tried I threw up within seconds of swallowing. It was very frustrating, as I know my baby needs the folic acid amongst other things found in these vitamins. These are small, the have no smell, and most importantly, they stay down!!

A friend of my wrote me a prescription for the same brand, and since I didn't have any of the sensitivity issues as with nornmal vitamins, I was relieved. The only major difference between this and the prescription version is the folic acid quantity, 800mcg vs 1mg. I've been taking the non-prescription ones since I've run out. I've also bought these for family and friends trying to get pregnant. All great reviews so far!

Best prenatal vitamin. Able to take it on an empty stomach without any side effects. I'm starting to take them since I'm ready to try again; I took other prescription brands when I had my first baby, and these are far better and cheaper then prescription.
