Drugstore.com shows wrong product

Bottom Line: not recommended

The pomade is good, BUT Drugstore.com shows/ships the wrong product. They have replaced the pomade for "separation and shine" with the Glisten "high shine" version. This does not have the same hold and is less solid. Beware.

I havn't been able to find this product locally so was glad to find it on line. Ordered it twice only to have something different sent to me twice. The folks I talked to on the phone about this where nice and the return process simple enough. The rep. said he'd put in a problem ticket to the warehouse but also agreed that it wasn't worth trying to order a third time "doubtful they'd get it right". Anyone know where I can get what I paid for?

If you want a piecy, chunky look to your short hair, this is the product! It works better than anything else I've ever found. And a little goes a very long way, so your investiment in one jar will last. I find that if you rub the stuff together between your hands to emulsify it before "scrunching" your hair, that's the best application method.

It does give shine but I prefer MOP Glisten. This is too heavy for my wavy curly hair. My husband doesn't like the weight for his fine hair.

I like this product a lot. It doesn't do everything that you want it to - but no hair product ever does! I'm female, with short hair. I like to tame the frizz and give my hair a piece-y look. I find that if I use this product after I've put some silicone product on my hair (I use Garnier Fructis brand), that I get the result I want. The silicone tames the frizz, and this product helps give it the textured/piece-y effect. Nice smell, great ingredients. Washes out pretty easily. A jar will last a long time.

Great for shorter hair, smells good, but a bit pricey. This product worked very well for me when my hair was a bit shorter. Not strong enough to tame stubborn wavy or curly hair that's beyond a couple inches long, but overall works well on the short stuff.

The last time I ordered this product, it was after I had used the first jar with full satisfaction. The second jar arrived a while before I used the last of the the first jar. By the time I opened the second jar, I found that the product had become entirely deydrated, hardened and the cake of material cracked. Had I noticed this at the time of arrival, I would have been able to return it for exchange or credit. But because of the delay, it proved to be a total loss. If the product is fresh, it's very good. If you order it, check it immediately on arrival to be sure it still is fresh and useable.

Strong smell as the others say, but it's ok for a guy. Stuff works well...can give you that messy naughty look with short hair, but your hair remains soft and clean feeling, and not all sticky and whack. Chicks dig it.
