I use this gel daily with good success. It adds body and good hold to my hair without being stiff. You can use more of it to get extra hold. It suits my needs well and I'd definitely recommend it!

I bought this product to replace my paul mitchelle wax that I've been using for a while, only to find out it was a gel. But still I would expect gels to be able to hold up my hair even a little bit, and I could spray it after(I am a male with medium length, light, straight hair btw). But I feel like I'm just putting on some of the hair serum almost, even though its not oily like the super skinny serums. It gives slight hold I guess, but not to make a noticeable different.
So I would recommend this product only if you have very long and light hair and want to add very subtle style with some shine/frizz control.

I have thicker, dry, wavy hair which I keep short and professional looking. I apply a pea-size amount of Super Clean Sculpting Gel to damp hair and my comb breezes through my scalp and allows me to style my hair any way I want.

If I leave my hair untouched, the gel dries with everything in place and a firm, slick finish. But a quick run through with comb or fingers will give your hair a more casual, yet, controlled look. And the light, clean gel gives hair a smooth, sillky feel. Not at all sticky!

I've tried other products--including American Crew, Fructis, John Freida, to name a few--and none work as well for my particular hair. Probably not great for fine hair, unless you want a sleek look, but if you have thick, wavy or dry hair, this is the gel to get.

The old formula has been revised...been using this forever - and can't find anything that holds curl or blends so well w/ other products. Have fine, very curly, hair - when left to its own devices frizzes, looses curl def. and fluffs up to epic proportions! Mix SCSG + Artec Smoothing serum in palm of hand, then flip head & do underside of towel dried damp hair. Flip back, mix a little more & do topside don't forget ends! Now scrunch with hand from end to scalp & dry naturally. Think you'll love it.
PS never brush/comb wet curly hair - use fingers w/ product.

Unlike the other reviewers, I love this product. I have very fine hair that goes limp after only an hour or so after I blow dry my hair. When I use this product I get lots of body and my hair can hold a style. I always blow dry my hair though and never let it dry naturally with this product in. Perhaps that is why the others have complaints. If you have very fine hair like me and blow-dry your hair, you probably will like this product.

I usually like salon styling products because they do not weigh my hair down nor do they typically make my hair overly sticky and gunky. This gel works quite well and maintains hold fairly well, but there is one complaint I have about it. If this gel is put into your hair and left to air dry, it produces a bunch of white, fiber-like strands, and if you disturb your hair (like run your fingers through it), the fibers fall from it and make your hair look dusty. I don't like that at all and won't buy this product again.

This gel has great hold but I don't think it's worth the stickiness or flakes it leaves on my hair.
