I was flashing so much; I was ready to try just about anything- except hormones, given a very high incidence of breast cancer in the immediate family. I hesitated to try this at first because well, it's not cheap! It wasn't long after I started taking it that I realized it was some of the best money I had ever spent. This is trully a fantastic product! I use it in combination with Soy Balance, which provides the estrogen part missing from Remifemin, and I feel so much better after using it for only about a month! I had a complete hysteractomy 12 years ago, and I was placed on Premarin but now my doctor told me to "just stop"! Wow! What a terrible experience! I am so glad Remifemin exists and that my doctor recommended it! I can completely tolerate my hot flashes now, which went from 1 per 5 minutes to 1 per 5 hours! This product is the best "supplement" I've ever tried - and I've tried a few for various conditions. I actually worked for me gradually within 3 weeks - then I stopped taking it thinking maybe it was just a coincedence. The hot flashes and mood swings returned as gradually as they first went away. Wow!! The best over-the-counter stuff on the market for menopausal women. I have tried everything under the sun and nothing helped with the hot flashes like remifemin. Mood swings? What are they? Night sweats? Gone!!! Give this supplement 3-4 weeks to get into your system and you will feel the difference. It only took 2 weeks and I noticed the hot flashes at night were a thing of the past.
