I haven't had to deal with ANY dry patches since using it (about 3 months now). And I can feel that it really cleans the skin. I think this stuff is perfect! I wanted to find skin products with less chemicals that were organic so I chose Burt's Bees tomato toner and facial soap after reading several excellent reviews. After using these products for about two months, I have the worst acne I have ever had in my entire life. I have developed more acne literally every single day since I have been using this product. I have come to the conclusion that this product will definitely not work for me and am going to throw it away and look for something else that is organic and is actually effective for me. Maybe people who do not have acne-prone skin will have success with this product but I would suggest that those with acne-prone skin do not use it. It also did not remove make up at all. After washing with the bar soap and using the toner, the cotton ball I used to apply the toner would be covered with make up and even after several applications of the toner I would still have make up residue. I would not recommend these products for daily wearers of make up unless another make up remover is used in addition to these products. It gets so much deep down grime out, even after thorough cleaning with my Clarisonic, I can still get yellow yuck on the cotton ball using this product. And I do not get the next day dryness or flaking on my face, it actually looks renewed and refreshed. And I get much less break out with my very late onset adult acne. I am 52 years old and have had much more problem with my skin the last 2 years than I ever had as a kid. This product really helps!
