It seems a shame that hardly anyone carries these any more in stores. I even have a coupon that I can't seem to use, b/c I can't use it online, and can't find it in stores any more. But, it's worth it, even without a coupon, because they work so well. I don't want to try the Tide laundry sticks--"if it ain't broke, don't fix it," as they say, and Shout Wipes work the best for stains on clothes, for me. Comments about Shout Wipe & Go, Portable Stain Treater Towelettes, 12 ea: These are wonderful to keep in your purse or desk drawer for those 'oops' times when you spill or get something on your clothing. It will remove the stain immediately. A friend dropped something on his tie and was going to have to take it to the cleaners. I gave him a Shout wipe to try, and it immediately removed the stain. Gets out almost every single stain I've ever tried it on. Red wine. turmeric, blood, even feces (though that took 3 washes). These wipes just don't work for even light stains. This is first aid for most stains, helping prepare for later washing. After allowing a minute for the solution to dry, many stains are gone with the initial treatment. Best on blood, food, drink stains on clothing, less effective on ink or gummy substances. Although not really designed for them, these Shout wipes also help pretreat carpet stains. I know, but I really wanted them!). They seem to work quite well, but the do leave a ring around the area that's been cleaned. I have been looking for the wipes for over a year, local grocery stores, [@] haven't carried them. I don't think the pen works as well. It is so convenient to use and works well.
