Not what they used to be...

I used the original Olay cloths for years. The new version is so much smaller that it's difficult to get your face clean with it and it balls up in your hand. Like others mentioned, I much preferred the textured side/soft side combo, and I think there is much less lather now. If anyone finds a good brand in these, please tell us all !

I preferred the original rougher pad surface. I felt like I was getting a mini-dermabrasion and I liked the results. I love the throw away cloths, but I am actually considering not using the new product. I have had several boxes and I don't get the same clean feeling.

This product is superior to all the high end products I've purchased at the high end department store makeup counters. I have dryish/sensitive skin so I AM vigilant and am willing to pay the money to keep my skin soft and clean. I am 50 and have been told more often than not that I look like I am in my early 30's. This is most likely due to my daily cleansing regimen which never includes using soap on my face or neck and following up with a moisturizer with collagen since my late teens. Yes! Since my teens. I like the light clean fragrance also that each wipe has. The only "down" side of this product is the wipes are very large so just cut them in half. I also have recently had ALOT of difficulty finding this at the "local drugstores". With that in mind, Drugstore.com, PLEASE continue to sell these as there are MANY of us who love this product!! Thank you Drugstore.com!!

I love these cleansing cloths but have found them scarce lately in the stores. I must agree though that I have noticed a change of texture in the cloths and wish Olay would go back to the original textures. Those felt slightly more cleansing and effective. I am 35+ and have used these faithfully for 3 years (or longer). I have sensitive, oily skin and these have been very gentle. No break-outs, no problems, just soft, healthy looking skin.

Lathers up nicely. Makes my face feel very clean. Removes make up easily. Much better than the other oil of olay 7 in 1 age defying facial clothes that don't lather at all. Convenient size fits on sink. I let my son use one and it helped clear his acne almost overnight!

I use the facial cloths 2x per day. They lather well, cleanse well, remove make-up thoroughly, and leave my skin feeling smooth. I wish that Olay would remove the fragrance from the ingredients, however, b/c it is not needed and can cause irritations.

Why do companes change perfectly good products? I loved the older one with the heavy "exfoliating side" and the smooth side. This one has two smooth sides and makes it "slippery" and harder to use. All in all, it's still a good product, though.

I am a 64 year old maie who has used this product for many years. I find the newer face cloths to be inferior to the older ones. They are not as strong and get hung up in my beard stubble. Lately the only way I find to purchase the product is to buy the black box each time. The refill packages are not widely available. It would be more environmentally friendly and less costly if we could just buy the refills. I still use the product to clean and add moisture to my face. I recommend it to men and women.

I am in my 50s and use this product daily. It is very good and gives me better results than some more expensive products that I have tried. When I have occasionally run out of these cloths, I can tell the difference in the way my skin looks--drier and not as youthful. I like to cut them in half so that they last longer, but even if I did not, they are worth the money for me. Note that these are not the same as the Regenerist cloths which are not as good.
