Love ...love ... love this. My Dermalogica regimen is the Precleanse to remove make-up, followed by the Special Cleansing Gel mixed with the Skin Prep scrub. Afterwards but only a few times a week I usethe Dermal Clay Cleanser to get a deeper clean. I pat dry and use the Oil Control lotion. I have very oily skin and this regimen keeps my face clean, matte and gorgeous.

I wrote an earlier review which, while not scathing, was not perfect either. I am going to give this stuff a second chance. It does seem to be a good cleanser. And I said it leaves residue, I am not so sure that wasn't something else I was using. So, all in all I like it and will keep using it. The thing I like the most about it is that it is gentle. When I use other cleansers, my skin is red afterwards and the blemishes are even more visible. This stuff does the opposite. My skin feels better and balanced and is less red and irritated. I might post another review in a couple of months if they let me, and if I think about it.

I have used this stuff once or twice a day for about a week. It works fine at first. But it seems to leave a residue after using for a while. And it won't remove some creams I use on my face at night before bed. It just doesn't clean them off. I also think that the clay in this stuff just builds up after a while too. So maybe it might be ok for occasional use. It is good otherwise. It balances and kinda calms acne. It doesn't overdry. I just don't think it's worth the price.

You get what you pay for, and this stuff is worth every penny! It really cleanses deep down, and has been effective in clearing my acne-prone skin. It feels cool on the face, and I let it stay on a couple of minutes so it dries a little, like a clay mask. I love all Dermalogica's products, and really, they are worth the money. It was previously only available at spas and salons, so I am thrilled to see it on drugstore.com!
