This product does 35% of the job... I would put it in the same category as any drugstore brand. It does a little bit but not enough to really feel like you got a good exfoliation. If you have sensitive skin then maybe this is good for you as it is so gentle. The best exfoliator I have ever used was by Cosmedicine but it is discontinued. The Dr Dennis Gross daily face peel works but I can only use it 2 times a week as it can be a but much for sensitive/combination skin. The Origins pumpkin face scrub is good in between deep exfoliation and it smells fabulous.

I initially bought the sample kit for oily and combination skin and I loved the cleanser, toner and eye cream but I hadn't tried the scrub until last nite. OMG!! I have had acne prone skin since I've been a teenger and now that I'm an adult in my late 30's I hated breaking out until I found this product..I personally thought its super expensive compared to other high end products but this product is totally worth the price..My skin no longer is shiny at the end of the day as it usually was and every time I had some stubborn blackheads that were so ingrown I couldn't remove without hurting myself this scrub took them off.. Not only that my skin felt so soft it was beyond incredible. The face looks clean and you even look good without the makeup there is something about this product that leave my skin looking so nice and clean that makeup wasn't even needed.. and believe me I'm not the kind of lady who goes around without makeup. Completely recommend it. I've have to purchase one item at a time but its workth it and at drugs.com is the best price I've found so far, plus it gets to me super quick.

I started out using this product once daily for about a week. It slightly dries with daily use so I moved to 3-4 times weekly in the mornings. I have acne prone skin with 1-3 break outs a time. I use the skin clearing wash at night and when I am not using this one to remove makeup. I use the special clearing booster once daily as well. I also use the barrier repair twice daily and under moisturizer with SPF in the mornings. Very happy with it as an exfoliant it feels like I had a facial when I use the routine and all dermaligica is natural

I was using Shisedo rice scrub since high school and then they stopped producing it. I was not able to find a good replacements since, until now! I was glad I tried it. This has similar grinned up grain that are fine, scrubs all dead skins yet gentle. My skin is glowing within 2 times usage. Smell is a pleasant bontanical smell that is mild. I am really happy with the results, these are not those syntheic micro beads stuff that are totally useless. The instruction saids this product should be used on excessive oily skins only which freaked me out after I received the product but i tried it and love it. I would say you should not use this more than twice a week unless you really have excessive oily skin. It is a little pricey as the size of tube is small but a little goes a long way, you only need to use very little each time.

The exfoliating grains are just right. I use this gentle product once a week in the shower on my face and chest. Using a washcloth, I massage the scrub in little circles, then rinse. The tube goes a long way.I so appreciate this Fragrance-Free product. Who needs the skin irritation from fragrances. This scrub keeps it simple and it has been a part of my routine for years and years.

I use this product several times a week in the shower after my facial skin has absorbed some of the steam and moisture from the water. I love Dermalogica products and have been using them for years. This product is good, although needs some improvement on the feel and smell. Although it rinses clean, it feels a bit heavy when applied and smells like food, which is a strange sensation to feel like you're smearing food all over your face. Good results if you can stand the smell.

I have very sensitive skin and can't begin to tell you how happy I am to have come by this product. It makes my skin literally GLOW. The exfoliation is great but it doesn't scratch up my skin like other facial scrubs. Some of the gentler ones on the market feel like they just have a cleanser and no exfolient - I didn't think I'd ever find the perfect scrub but this one is IT!! Thank you!!!

WOW!!!! First let me say I love dermalogica products. I have oily skin (mainly T-zone) and HUGE pores that get clogged easily. This stuff is wonderful! It doesn't irritate skin at all, and your face is soooo smooth afterwards. I noticed a difference in my skin after one use! The only downside is that their products are expensive. Try 1 of their kits (also available at drugstore.com) for your skin type. They all contain the skin prep scrub and last about 1 month. You will see a HUGE difference in your skin.

I've loved this exfoliator since I was a teenager. About 10 years later, I still love it. Only downfall is the smell, but it's an acquired smell that is soon forgotten after using the product. I always buy cheaper priced products, hoping to find a replacement. Every time, I have to break down and go back to this expensive one. But it's worth it!
