I purchased this product for acne, but it only made my acne worse. I tried it faithfully for 2 weeks to make sure that I gave it a chance to work. Instead of improved skin, I got more and worse pimples than I have normally. I have used glycolic acid products with success in the past, but this one did not work for me. If you are not prone to breakouts, it may be helpful. But if you are, I wouldn't recommend this product.

Love this product -- I'm forty but my skin is still oily and prone to blackheads, yet I'm trying to head off wrinkles, too. I feel like everything I applied to my face addressed one problem and created another one, but not this glycolic gel product. Great price, goes a long way, and leaves my skin feeling perfect before bedtime.

I tried this after reading the reviews and I am happy that I did. I am almost 55 years old and my skin looked it. This does not burn going on. I use the dime size amount recommended. There is a noticeable difference in the surface pores, color and smoothness of my face. I think I look younger and fresher. My husband (who doesn't notice this kind of thing) commented on how good my complexion looked. Try it, you may love it.

This is a great product -- you use so little, and it lasts for a long time. It's great to use on both your face and hands as you go to bed; it's better than hand cream. The benefit to using this daily or almost daily made it have a better effect than 30% glycolic peels infrequently. I think it's better to keep renewing your skin with this. It gave my skin a real glow (I'm 52). Everyone should try this!

This is an amazing product! I do not have acne or acne scarring, but hyper pigmentation (blotchy skin) on a couple of areas. I have been using this gel since December -- still the same bottle -- and it has made an incredible difference in my skin. I don't need to wear foundation anymore, and my skin has a healthy glow. I also use it on the backs of my hands. It's amazing; I am buying more.

I LOVE this product! I have had severe dry skin my whole life so naturally I never had many problems with acne in my teen years. Then in my late 20's I started breaking out on my chin and forehead. I still had dry, flaky skin everywhere else on my face so I went to a dermatologist who prescribed an acne medication and a lotion with lactic acid in it. That worked fairly well, but it was also fairly expensive when I changed jobs and no longer had a prescription program. I then tried using one of those abrasive cloths which helped a bit but I noticed that it seemed to make the tiny wrinkles that are starting to crop up around my eyes more noticeable. I was looking for something that would help smooth my skin but wouldn't dry my already dry face. I read the reviews here and decided to try Total Skin Care glycolic gel. I couldn't be happier! My pimples are gone! My face is smooth! My complexion has evened out! The best part is that I have no dry, flaky skin either!

This is a wonderful product. I am 51 years old and have cystic acne my entire life. Only stuff I have ever tried that actually works on my oily skin. When I tried it for the first time after one week, I saw that my skin was steadily evening out.
