My doctor recommended for me to get something to wear around my wrist while typing and using mouse to give me some extra support. This felt really good. The only complaint was that there wasn't much support because the split was too flexible and the arm part was too tight for my arm. I have a medium frame, have short arms, but I am overweight, so that might be why it was tight around my arm.

I've been using the smart glove for 3+ years now and I am still using the first one. I work in the office and spend time on the computer once i get home as well. The glove is comfortable and easy to slide on and off, unlike a lot of braces that you have to strap yourself into. It helps me keep good wrist posture while doing the mouse work which is what causes me the most problems, while still allowing me some flexibility. Honestly, if you are having a severe Carpel Tunnel flair up you might want something a little more heavy duty. I used to have frequent flair ups of CT before I purchased this product, but now I get nothing more than slight soreness when I've got heavy deadlines at work. I am very pleased with this product and I have recommended it to more than one friend.

This is a cheap product. Don't waste your money. Go to a local store, see what you are getting, and then buy. If you buy and are disappointed, don't say you weren't warned.

This product offers little to no support. The brace digs into the back of the hand. I couldn't even keep it on one day. Did nothing to give relief.

The glove works great. Without it, I have work-stopping pain in less than 1/2 hour. With it, I have worked 10 hours with little or no pain. I find that the fabric wears out where the glove contacts the desk after a few months.
