Oil absorbing sheets fall within my Top Five Products to Never Leave Home Without! I have extremely oily skin and these are a lifesaver. As other reviewers have commented, I see no difference in quality or effectiveness between the generic vs. the name brand sheets.
TIP: To prevent over-drying your skin or smudging your makeup, don't "wipe" your face with the sheet. Just blot very, very gently on your trouble areas; the goal is to remove excess oil that causes an unflattering shine, while still leaving a little bit of your skin's natural glowing moisture intact. Avoid excessive removal and only use when necessary or else your skin may start over-producing oil.

I have very oily skin and these do a decent job of removing the oil (sometimes I have to use more than 1 sheet though). However, I think the mineral oil in them may contribute to more oil later. I also noticed that my skin looked extra dry after using them... even though I had powder on and the product claims not to disturb makeup. I'm not sure that claim is completely accurate. My mother used them and also said she did not like the way her skin looked afterwards, although the oil was removed. My other complaint is that they bright blue color makes them too indiscreet for quick use in a public place. I will continue looking for a better product.
Many people have commented on the price being cheaper... I would like to point out that many of the others are higher priced BUT offer more sheets (100 instead of the 50 included in this pack).

Best oil blotting paper I've tried to date. Does not rip or disintegrate easily. Soaks up a LOT of oil. With the cheaper, thinner rice papers, I feel like I have to use several to do the job. I only need one from this brand. Highly recommend!

I have very oily skin and I use a lot of these throughout the day. Works good to remove excess oil and shine without removing makeup or adding more powder. They are a bit pricey but it's better than being shiny all day or caking on powder all day.

To my surprise, the blotting sheets are blue! When I wake up in the morning, my nose is really oily. Sometimes it'll get oily throughout the day, but who cares about that. The sheets work as they should; oil is removed once used. Since I don't really have that much of an oily face except my nose area, I only have to use 1 sheet. It's great! 4 stars because I'm not crazy about it. I could wash my face with just water and get the same results.

While they will take away shine they also remove foundation. I've used better blotters that actually work. Now I've got to find them again because these were a disappointment.

These little papers are perfect for removing excess oil from my skin without disturbing any make-up I'm wearing. They work great on bare skin too. They're a bit pricey but worth it to keep my skin looking nicer.

I've been using this for over a decade. If you rub this on your face or the oily parts of your face, then it will smudge your makeup off. However, all you need to do is press this on to the parts of your face that is oily and it absorbs them all. I have used other brands, one I can think of is from the body shop and none of them worked as well as this. I have tried several other brands and have stopped trying to see anything better out there for a really long time. I have cone to realize that I am just wasting my time and money by doing that. I've stuck with this for a really long time and I always have this where ever I am. Even when I'm not wearing any makeup and my face is just super oily, I use this to get that greasy excess oil off my face.

Love these little sheets! I always keep a package in my purse and in my makeup kit. They do a fantastic job of absorbing oil without smudging my makeup. I've been using them for years and will likely use them for years to come! My only complaint is that they are a little small in comparison to other absorbing sheets I've used - but they do a much better job so I can live with that. Also love that they have a sticky tab to help pop the next sheet out of the package.
Before first use, open package lid and peel off sticker on inside panel. For easy pop-up dispensing, press lid down and lift up to remove each sheet.
Blot sheet gently on face to remove excess oil and shine . Ideal for use over makeup. Dispose used sheet in trash receptacle.
