I'm not a big fan of Clean & Clear, and I tried these because I actually emailed neutrogena about what would the best way to get rid of oil without ruining my makeup. I was surprised, but then I realized the two companies are both owned by Johnson & Johnson. Anyway, these sheets are almost magic. Even if they're so small, it's amazing how much oil they pick up. It's better than adding more powder on your face.

I don't like the Clean & Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets. Paula's Choice Oil Blotting Sheets are much better! Clean & Clear sheets made my skin break out, and the oil returned within one hour. No thanks!

These blotting sheets are great! They absorb and lock the oil, so oil won't smear off onto your hands as you're using it. There is no powder on them, so you won't look cakey. And it will not ruin your makeup job (the exception is if you have a crease in your eye shadow, it will move that). Plus, they are cheaper than any other brand out there.

These are great! They immediatley remove oil and dirt. They are very convenient and easy to use. I haven't tried any other oil absorbing sheets, but I stick to these!

I cannot even begin to count the number of packs of these little things I have bought. The only thing I would like more is if they were bigger. But I love them and I bascially have the oiliest skin ever.

I've never tried this kind of product before now, but I must say they didn't work as well for me as they did for most of the other people who wrote reviews here. They did help combat shine somewhat, and I'll continue using them, but my face is still sort of shiny (especially on my nose/forehead) after I use them. It's possible that my skin isn't shiny because of oil, though. It could be that my skin is tight (from using astringent) and is reflecting light. I think anybody with shiny skin should buy this, because it seems to work very well for some people. The only way to know if it will work for you is to try it.

These sheets are awesome! I've noticed that the people who rated only one or two stars blame their mineral oil ingredient. If you think of the chemistry of oil though, the product works because the molecular structures of oil in the sheets attract the oils on your face; the oils bond and are trapped in the sheet. People may misinterpret the ingredient as something that is deposited onto the face. The oil that appears post-use may be your own body producing sebum as a reaction to the removal of oil.
