I don't know how these do it but they just instantly soak up all the oil on your face through what makeup you have on. It's true; it doesn't smudge or take off any makeup at all. I have a really oily t-zone and have to use these things all the time. I used to use the rice-paper ones with powder on them but then I'd have a layer of white powder on my face. These are so much better. I'm never carrying a compact again...I'm a customer for life!

It takes off oil, yes- but it also takes off some of your makeup. I always have to apply my makeup all over again after using these, but it doesn't leave any powdery substance, or anything like that, it takes off oil, so it's good.

This is a great product. I also use the body shop oil absorbing sheets, and they don't work nearly as well. These work much better than the more expensive oil absorbing sheets and they're much cheaper. They're great to get rid of a little extra shine without removing makeup or putting more makeup on.

Tissue paper works just as good and is MUCH cheaper. Also, it says "oil absorbing", but it has mineral oil. Why would one want to put oil back onto her face? The product irritated my skin, and I needed to use a couple of sheets each time and used 3 times a day (oil comes right back in several hours) = 2 x 3 = 6 sheets/day and for a pack of 50, ONE ONLY GETS 8 DAYS USE, so it is expensive.

Oh man, are these great; I cannot go a summer without them! I use them for "cleaning off" the oil at lunch and before I go out in the evening, using powder afterwards (though you don't have to). An ingenious product. The only time I didn't need them was during a cold summer in the UK. Otherwise they're a must-have for oily and combination skin!

These are wonderful. The small case fits in any purse, and they soak up oil like crazy while leaving makeup intact. These are so much better than the paper version, or the ones with powder on them. Thank you, Clean N Clear!

I wanted to like them. I really did! But I like Shiseido's blotting papers better. These don't really make me less shiny. And they're plastic, so don't seem as eco-friendly.

These are AWESOME!!! I have combination skin and my T-zone can get very shiny during the day. When I use these, they keep my face shine free. They do not contain powder and feel very soft, yet absorb all that yucky oil. They work very well, even with make-up on. If you have combination/oily skin, definitely give these a try. You won't be disappointed!
