I have tried many brands of organic cotton tampons, these are by far the best. While you do need to change them a little more regularly than regular tampons, say on a heavy flow day with a super plus in you might need a new one every 3 hours instead of every 4-5 hours. But that doesn't bother me. They are well worth it. I'm allergic to plastic and had a horrible outbreak to tampax after 20 years of use because they use plastic thread to wrap their non-organic tampons. So natracare is the only brand I buy now.

A great replacement to OB and just as absorbent. Feels more comfortable to use an unbleached product.

I like that these are organic and natural with no chemicals which is very important to me. I prefer non applicator and these are one of the few natural brands that make a Super plus absorbency which I need as I have a heavy flow. The only thing I would say is that I wish the cotton fibers didn't come off the tampon as much which concerns me but I would rather this than it be full of chemicals.

These are super comfy, but the biggest plus is that they are ORGANIC! With smart packaging and no applicator there's very little waste.Make sure to wash your hands before application!!!

The applicator, or lack there of, pretty much s*cks. Not only is this applicator free, which is annoying, but the tampon itself is wrapped in plastic wrap which is built to withstand the end of the world and zombies. You can only use your nails to scratch at that stupid little yellow plastic strip for so long before you actually have to open your tampon with your friggin teeth! Will not buy again!

I can't get the hang of these. They are hell to insert if you aren't moist enough and after two tries I just gave up because it hurt. I am used to those slippery plastic applicators that work for peri-menopausal women who are getting a little dry in that area. I will try again, but am seriously thinking of just giving these to a friend and going back to the ones with the applicator.

I have been using these for over a year. I think they work great. I have no problem using tampons without an applicator. If you are uncomfortable doing that, get the ones with an applicator. They are just as effective as other tampons. I did not notice any negative effects from switching to the "name brand" poly-cotton to organic cotton. I think that everyone should switch to 100% cotton.

These are completely safe -- unlike mainstream products. I have used the Natracare Organic tampons for years, but only the ones with the applicator. I tried these, but found that it's too difficult for me to insert them without an applicator, so I'm going back to the applicator version. Great product if you don't need an applicator; otherwise I suggest looking into other Natracare products.
