Hello, I have been using these for over a year. I think they work great. I have no problem using tampons without an applicator. If you are uncomfortable doing that, get the ones with an applicator. They are just as effective as other tampons. I did not notice any negative effects from switching to the "name brand" poly-cotton to organic cotton. I think that everyone should switch to 100% cotton.

These are completely safe -- unlike mainstream products. I have used the Natracare Organic tampons for years, but only the ones with the applicator. I tried these, but found that it's too difficult for me to insert them without an applicator, so I'm going back to the applicator version. Great product if you don't need an applicator; otherwise I suggest looking into other Natracare products.

I love these. They're really absorbent. Since they don't have an applicator, so they are very compact and stay clean in their plastic in my pocket or purse. Plus they're not bleached with dioxin and are made from cotton, so they're better for my body. I use and love my Keeper on my lighter days, but this is great for my heaviest days.

If you like OB, which this is shaped like, you'll love this! Even if you never have tried OB the shape of this doesn't allow blood to escape and is very very comfortable and won't fall out. Plus it is less irritating, and les odorous.
