Tung cleans and freshens the tongue and keeps it clean for a long time. I would recommend it highly to anybody desiring to have clean, fresh breath.

I have been using this product since it was introduced several years ago. It is the only product I have ever used that absolutely cleaned the sticky film off your tongue and with regular use seems to keep the gunk on your tongue from forming. I have recommended this to everyone I care about and they love it! It is amazing for bad breath, especially seems to prevent horrible morning breath if used regularly and before bed every night. I like the newer product fine, but I really hate the new packaging. It is embarrassing to carry around and I wish they would make a smaller tube- 1.5oz for traveling. I wish they would return to the older packaging as airport workers seem to confuse it with something to do with sexual activity.This product is extremely hard to locate, I order it 6 tubes at a time so I never run out. I highly recommend TUNG brush and gel to my patients who struggle with foul breath.

Although this product is kind of tricky to find, it is defintely worth the time. The "new" version is a little more grainy than the original, and the zinc leaves a little after taste, but nothing bothersome. I liked the original stuff better, but I am very pleased with the current one too!

If you want great breath and something that will remove all that white coat off your tongue -- this is the product. Used with the Tung brush (a must have) you can get to the back of your tongue without gagging! I have used this for years! What a fabulous product!

I have been using this product since it was introduced in the stores. I was skeptical at first, but when I tried it, OMG!, it became very hard to find in the stores they began to discontinue the product so I had to resort other resources. Most people think their mouth is clean once they brush their teeth and most people DO NOT BRUSH THEIR TONGUE which is where the bacteria is, once I saw all the gunk, slime that this product removed I was sold and my mouth is actually cleaner with just brushing. I keep 10 tubes at a time, this is a must have product and I am online right now ordering more, this product should be given out as samples in the dentist offices, it should be on display right along side the SoniCare Toothbrush. Try it I gaurantee you will return for more.

I been using this product for over 2 years now and just love it. I tried many other similar product promising the same result or better. This is the best one i have tried. I actually liked the older formula taste so much more, but have gotten used to this one. It doesn't foam up as much as the older kinda, therefor making it easier to use. If you want fresh breath PLEASE buy this. I wish everyone would use this cause I hate smelling bad breath on people all the time. PLEASE USE THIS! Be kind to those around you.

I am VERY, VERY PARTICULAR about my teeth and breath. I do smoke. I get my teeth cleaned every three months and now I won't have to! I use this gel in the morning and before going to bed and anytime that I want to freshen my breath. I swear it has removed all my stains from my teeth, which stain very, very easily. They have completely disappeared after two weeks of use! WOW! My mouth tastes great all day. This product is PHENOMENAL! Why didn't I hear about it before!? I will use it until something better is produced! It also has xylitol in it which is great for the health of your mouth. Keep xylitol from your dog however - it can kill them!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND the product!

I agree with The Reader saying: "The messy top a lot of people talk about is taken care of by unscrewing the top like a tube of toothpaste." I've been doing this ever since this product first came out about 8-9 years ago. Even though, I like the old packaging much better as it was easier to squeez the remaning Tung Gel out of the tube and was also as soft as a tube of toothpaste than the current tube used for packaging the Tung Gel. Also the top of the old packaging of the Tung Gel was not messy. I hope the makers of Tung Gel bring back the old packaging, but keep the new formula of Tung Gel. I like the new formula, it tastes better than the old formula and works much better as well. In order to get the maximum effectivness of Tung Gel and Tung Brush, here's what I suggest doing: 1. First get the Tung Brush wet by putting it under running warm water or hot water*. 2. Then apply a thin layer or enough Tung Gel on the Tung Brush and put it under very little running warm water or hot water* and start brushing your tongue from there. This will make the Tung Brush and Tung Gel slide easier on the tongue. As you start brushing your tongue, the gel will make a sudsing action and this will start to clean your tongue. To make Tung Gel taste good, put very little warm or hot water* on the Tung Gel as mentioned above in step 2. *Be Careful when using hot water as temperatures vary from location to location.
