I have tried many different fish oils and this one is definitely the best one. I get no "fish burp" at all as long as I take it with food, and no upset stomach. These capsules make taking a fish oil supplement easy.

My doctor recommended that I take a daily fish oil capsule but in the past, I've had fish burps and indigestion during the day after taking a fish oil supplement. This product delivers! No aftertaste and it's a small capsule which makes it easy to swallow. I will continue to purchase this brand.

I have been searching for an Omega 3/Fish Oil product that I could take to help with my health issues. All of the other pills out there that I could see (and I couldn't see many because the bottles were darkened or were non-see through) were huge! I am not a fan of taking horse-sized pills. These are great- the pill comes in a tiny egg shape and it easy for me to swallow. I've taken them a week (once a day so far) and nothing bad has happened. No fish burps. Doesn't interfere with my many medications and insulin. I recommend trying these if you haven't already.

Since this is enteric-coated, there is no fishy "burp" or other bad effects that you sometimes get from fish oil caps.

Pros: Acts Quickly, No aftertaste, Simple To Take
Cons: Can't find a problem
Describe Yourself: Health Conscious, Regular User
Best Uses: Daily Use, Older People, Take with food, Women
Bottom Line: recommended
I bought this for my 80 year old mother who previously tried the prescription Lovaza, but it 'repeated' on her. This was unusual for me because I take it (I'm 53) with no 'repeating' of taste. It dissolves in the intestinal tract. So I looked for another and this worked for my Mom. She has never had a problem with burping fish, so nasty, and she's taking it three times a day and working up to four times a day WITH HER DOCTOR'S INSTRUCTIONS, SO DON'T DO ANYTHING WITHOUT ASKING YOUR DOC FIRST, PLEASE.

by Gran[Verified Reviewer] in Alaska on 7/22/09
Cons: Poor packaging and label
Describe Yourself: Regular User
Best Uses: Daily Use, Older People, Women
Bottom Line: not recommended
I used Fisol for over a month to help with colon aid after cancer surgery and for the added benifet of cholestrol contol. I began to have temporary nausea within minutes after taking the product during the 5th week. After a few days it was constant nausea which I pinpointed directly to the Fisol. Doing research on the internet, ALL fish oil should be sealed in GLASS jars and kept in the REFRIGERATOR. No where on the plastic bottle Fisol comes in is this suggested. Fish oil can and does go rancid fairly quickly. Would you eat rancid fish? I think the product will do what it claims, but manufacturer needs to use air-tight glass, not plastic and have 'refridgerate after opening' on the label.

This product is absolutely wonderful. I had to give up taking fish oil because of the accompanying indigestion. The indigestion was often so bad that it would wake me at night. With this product I have no more indigestion. If fish oil bothers you this is the one to try!
