It smells SO very good, but it just did not work for my hair. I have very fine hair that I have to wash every day. The shampoo alone made my hair oily. Using the conditioner as well only made it worse. I gave it a couple of weeks hoping my hair would get used to it, but it just didn't work. I'm super sad about this because the shampoo and conditioner smell amazing and the price is great.

It has a wonderful lavender scent but it did not work well for my hair. It made my hair dull and frizzy.

I wish I could give this product (and the conditioner) more stars! It's a great shampoo that smells fabulous (if you like lavender) and makes my hair clean. It takes a little more shampoo to create a lather, but that is because it's a natural shampoo that doens't have those chemical foaming agents. You have to use just a tad more and mix with a little more water to lather up --- but it's ok; I don't need the extra cancer-causing chemicals of the mass marketed shampoos. Also, I find my hair stays clean longer so in turn, I only need to shampoo my hair a few times a week as opposed to everyday! This is a plus. My hair stays clean and smells clean for about 2-3 days. The only drawback is the higher price. But the shine, smell, cleansing ability and compliments I get on my hair are well worth it. Try this --- you won't be sorry. It's the greatest.

I have healthy, fine hair. I bought this shampoo because it was called "Nourishing." However, even though I used it in conjunction with the "Nourishing" conditioner, I found that it stripped my hair too much. I also found that it did not lather well so that I had to use more of it in comparision to other natural shampoos. I would not purchase it again.

Unlike other shampoos, this one takes a long time to rinse. What I do is that I use this one first, and then I use John Frieda for brunettes. That way, I don't spend too much time rinsing my hair, I cut down the harsh chemicals by half, and the combination makes my hair incredibly soft, especially if I use the Avalon lavender conditioner (that one is easy to rinse).

This shampoo has a wonderful lavender smell. It smells real, not like an artificial fragrance. The shampoo itself is a little thin and doesn't lather very well. I feel like I need to use more to get it all over my scalp. It feels gentle enough to use everyday because it doesn't leave my hair feeling stripped or dry.

I love this shampoo! It makes my thin, fine hair unbelievably super soft and shiny. Plus, I love the fact that all the ingredients are natural so I don't have to worry about harsh chemicals. This is a lot better than some of the commercial shampoos I have tried. There's no weighing-down of my hair at all. 10 stars in my book!!

This is a wonderful shampoo!! It smells yummy, and makes my hair so soft and full of body! I love that it's made with natural ingredients and not too many harsh chemicals. Highly recommended!!

This makes my 4 feet of long, wavy hair so soft, and I mean "bunny's fur" soft! I find I have to scrub my scalp just a bit more than with harsher shampoos, but it lathers well and rinses cleanly, leaving my hair can't-stop-touching-it soft, shiny and healthier than ever. This is the first time in my years of testing new shampoos that my husband has begged me to never switch. He loves the way this makes my hair look and feel! And it has made my hair grow faster and healthier; it really is very nourishing. It moisturizes so well that I've never even tried the matching conditioner! HG material, I will never switch.
