My headline says it all. What more do you want from a soap? I'm intrigued by the fact that there is a category called "bubbles don't last long" under cons. The is a "con" in sense that you are being con-ed if you think that matters! Sodium Laurel Sulfate (SLS) is unnecessarily added to thousands of products for just that reason--to make bubbles that don't do anything while it dries your skin, clogs your pores, and leaves a bitterness on you. Try eating a sandwich after washing your hands with an SLS containing soap and this fantastic soap from Avalon and see what I mean about the bitterness...a bitterness that can cause canker sores in some people (like me).

I have very sensitive skin but it is not bothered by this soap. Plus, I love the smell. It is refreshing when you are tired or when it is hot outside.

Great SLS-soap, nice smell, only downside besides the price is the stroke of the pump is very long, i.e. you get a ton of soap if you push the nozzle down the entire length. This isn't a problem for me, but guests are going to be using a lot of this 6.50/bottle hand soap!

This is my first time to try a natural product for a hand soap and I love it. I had used anti-bacteria product for a long time but was told that it is very bad for nature and kind of toxic to sensitive skins. This makes rich foaming, smells good and moisturizing after use. I will not go back to anti-bacterial product again even if this costs more to me. It is also big enough to use reasonably long time

This hand soap is the best I have ever found. It smells delicious and is very refreshing. It has a very rich lather, yet is does not dry my skin. I must say that I don't undersand other reviews to the contrary. I have found that there is some variation in the product from batch to batch, and the peppermint smell changes to a more medicinal quality if the product is not used for several months. This may account for the discrepant reviews. I have very sensitive skin and the ingredients in this product do not irritate my skin. In fact, I have taken to using it for washing my face --the ultimate test- and it passes wth flying colors. Amazing!

This soap has about a half second of peppermint scent, immediately followed and overpowered by a bitter antiseptic odor during use. Also, this soap really dried out my hands after use. This was my first time buying a "natural" liquid soap, so I bought Tom's of Maine natural unscented liquid soap at the same time to compare. My hands were much softer after using the Tom's of Maine soap, and I noticed next to no odor during or after use.

Love this soap. The smell is wonderful. There is only a little lather, which is the only downfall. It leaves my hand feeling very clean and not to dry after using. Will continue to purchase vs. my other Burt's Bee's hand soaps.
