I love this deodorant because it has no scent and it doesn't leave white marks on my clothing. It also really works as a deodorant, which I have found isn't always the case with other brands.

I like this one and have used both the crystal, which I tend to drop, and this one over the years. Those who have trouble later in the day might keep a bottle of alcohol and a tissue handy for mid-day refreshing. Alcohol kills bacteria (apparently) and dries fast. Then reapply. I remember something from my hippie days about adding a little zinc supplement to your vitamin list if you had bad BO. I hate to hear that this does not work for some folks.

I tried other natural brands and they didn't control the odor. I've been using this roll-on type for about a year now and it works the best. Only after a lot of perspiring do I smell any odor. The key, though, is to apply it to cover your entire underarm area--if you miss any spots you may not be as successful with this.

I'm often described as "hyper". I'm small, and very thin, and I sweat like crazy. It doesn't matter if my activity level is low or high, my armpits sweat, and they smell horrible. I've found a couple of antiperspirants that function well, but recently I got the brilliant idea that I'd like to be as "green" as possible, and try deodorants with botanical/natural ingredients. So far, this was a very bad idea. I've tried fragranced "deodorants", and nothing has worked, even remotely. I have trouble with sweaty odor even with the use of aluminum products, so I thought maybe something entirely different just might work. Crystal deodorant contains alum, (composed of mineral salts of aluminum plus potassium or ammonium mineral salts), which is a natural compound that's completely different from the aluminum chlorohydrate/zirconium used in antiperspirants. I've heard many good things about crystal deodorants, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to give one a try. Rather than have to moisten a rock and rub it in my pits, I chose the roll-on formulation. It's very wet, and no perfumes or fragrances are added. It smells salty, which isn't really bad, but it's not my idea of a "clean" smell. I knew this wouldn't stop perspiration, but as a deodorant this product's performance is horrendous. I've tried using this roll-on at night, in the morning, right after my shower, 20 minutes after my shower, and applying several times a day, but I haven't found a way to make it work with my body chemistry and neutralize underarm odor. This roll-on takes a long, long time to dry, and it quickly makes my armpits sticky! The stickiness seems to stimulate sweat, so, overall, this product completely defeats the purpose of my using it. Right now I'm convinced that the positives of aluminum use may outweigh the possible negatives...Crystal Roll-on deodorant's listed ingredients are: Purified Water, Mineral Salts, Potassium Alum, and Celquat (Cotton Cellulose).

I've used chemical anti-perspirants my whole life, but recently learned about the potential harms associated with many of the chemicals in our everyday toiletries. So, I decided to give a non-chemical deodorant a try. I was absolutely shocked by how great it works. It eliminates the odor, and I was surprised by how little I actually perspire. What a great product! I'm hooked. The only thing I miss is having some sort of fragrance under my arms .....

I love this deodorant. It keeps me odor free. We are currently trying to conceive and I wanted as little chemicals on me/in me as possible. Natural deodorant brands tend to leave me really stinky, but this crystal product works!

This product doesn't have a weird smell like most other natural deoderants that I've tried...completely odorless! Not sticky, either.

The first 2 weeks I tried this, I loved it! I didn't notice any BO or perspiration. I did notice that it took a little longer than my last antiperspirant to dry, but I thought that's a small price to pay for less chemicals in my system. But the last couple of weeks I started noticing a armpit odor in the evening. Even on days that I was fairly lazy I felt the need to wash. I might use this one again, but for now I am still looking for my perfect antiperspirant.
