As others have stated this is for order control - it lets you perspire like you should. I have used the Crystal line for 5 years (back when they only had the solid crystal). I have used it on my feet as well. It works great. Usually one application lasts 12 hours or so. I am on the go all day every day with my 2 kids and I have not had an issue with it. I make sure to apply on clean dry skin or else it does not work for me. Some times I use sandal power after I apply crystal and that works too.

Amazing natural deodorant that works well and this is a non-messy alternative to the wet stick version. I'm a believer.

Using a crystal may seem weird but it really does work for controlling odor. I used it right out of the shower so my pits are already damp. However, since I am a woman and it's not polite to sweat all over your dress or through your blouse, I began looking for an antiperspirant (I like Arm & Hammer: no aluminum whatever that people are scared about, no strong smell, lasts ... but drugstore.com doesn't carry it yet). I know, I know, it is better to sweat! But on days where I don't have to worry about pit stains I usually just wear no deodorant at all! If you don't mind sweating but really want odor control, I would recommend this. But Ithat's not me on a normal basis so I will not buy again of mine ever runs out.

Been using this product for years, after crystal form became rare. Very sensitive, had to have surgery to have cyst removed due to underarm deoderants(talk about painful) and have used this since. Every time I try something else, I get rash within week. Leaves no trace on clothes, no smell, dries within minute unless already wet, then only a few. Only have to reapply if it has been a really strenous day or after working hard in the yard. This coming from someone who lives in Florida, high humidity and 90s most of the year. Always worried it won't stay on shelves, so buy 2 at a time.

I wanted to use a deodorant without chemicals. I tried this about 3 years ago and haven't gone back to anything else. I found myself getting rashes with other deodorants. No rash problem at all. The only con I have is it doesn't dry as quickly as some but it really isn't a huge issue as it dries by the time I get my blouse on! Try it and see for yourself!

About a year or two ago I began getting reactions to regular deodorants, even some of the natural ones. I would pretty much have a chemical burn on my armpits. So I decided to change to something different, like Crystal deodorant. I was skeptical because I had tried a few other mineral deodorants which did not last all day for me. But, wow, what a deodorant this is! It lasts all day, does not irritate the skin. Once it is dry you may see some whitish flakes, which is why I wouldn't say it goes on clearly, but I'm sure it wouldn't affect anything, once you start sweating the flakes would most likely dissolve. Highly recommended deodorant, seriously, forget the normal aluminum and skin irritating deodorants, and try this instead.

I've been using this product for about 3 weeks now. I'm a teacher, and wanted to try it out during the stressful back-to-school rush. During those first few uber-stressful days, I also exercised with a 4 mile brisk walk in warm temperatures. I perspired (remember, it's a deoderant, not an anti-persperant), but it was a clean sweat w/o odor. I do not find it necessary to reapply this product late in the day. On one occasion, I was in a rush and needed to skip a shower, and exercised that day- still no smell. I am truly impressed, and thrilled because I'm not filling my pores with aluminum and parabens! I'm not one of tose super earthy-crunchy people; I love my high quality make up, and never take the cheapest way out on hair or skin products. This product is not only inexpensive- it performs like a superstar! I've only found 2 drawbacks (my reason for 4 stars and not five) 1) it takes a while to dry (the blowdryer takes care of that pretty quickly, though) 2) I usually have to layer it w/ Weleda spray citrus deoderant, just to add a bit of fresh scent. I will most definitely be purchasing this product again- it works great, and is something that I can do each and every day for my long term health!

This is the best non-irritating deoderant I have found. It is not quite as powerful as the strongest anti-perspirants but is much easier on the skin. It is oderless as well, which I think is a big plus.

I would have rated this product 5 stars October through May. I don't think it holds up to the Las Vegas summers (really what can?), so I use a more traditional product in the summer months. My husband disagrees, however, and I would imagine he tests it more than I do. He says he reapplies often, though. I am sure it work great in the summer for someone who doesn't deal with 115 degrees! I love how chemical free it is.

I have experienced some very severe allergic reactions to several different deodorants. I was very happy when I discovered this product. This deodorant does not irritate my skin and it works well to control underarm odor. In addition, I have never noticed any residue on my clothing from this deodorant.
