It made my hair look nice the first day I used it, but after that the oil just built up and made my hair heavy and plastered straight down.

I use this shampoo and conditioner every summer, and I am dismayed to find the formula has changed from last year. They have added Argon Oil, which now makes the shampoo useless for me. I have fine, oily hair that I must wash everyday, so the previous formula was perfect for me! With the addition of OIL, I can no longer use this on my hair. My hair looks dirty after only a few hours with this stuff, whereas the previous formula left it looking healthy all day.

Once was enough… This shampoo did not lather well and did not seem to rinse out completely. It feels like watered down dipity-do (hair gel from the 80s-90s). Even after blow-drying, the smell was just too strong. I bought this because I remember a celeb saying years ago that it smelled soo good. It doesn't. It smells like bad men's cologne. Not a good smell for a woman.

I have extremely fine, shoulder-length hair that tangles easily, but have no problems with this product. (Because I have fine hair, I baby it -- combing it out with a wide-tooth comb while wet, and allowing it to air dry quite a bit before hitting it with the blow dryer. This may be why I don't have problems with it while others reviewers did.) I also shampoo just my scalp, and not my hair, allowing the rinse to take care of the rest. Plus, I alternate this with another brand every other shampoo. For basic maintenance, I love this shampoo.

I have been working to switch all my products to natural products. This was the first natural shampoo I tried and unfortunately I was not a fan. It dried out my hair and left it feeling stringy. No me gusta!

I am a White guy and I agree with what the Asian woman below me wrote: this product makes my hair look "frazzled."

I have used Prell (well known for its potentcy) for years and my hair has always looked great. But I wanted to try a sulfate free shampoo, because I'm aware of the potential issues that sulfates can engender. So I bought this shampoo because it was cheap and it smells great.

I've used it for a few weeks and, quite frankly, my hair looks awful. I can't figure out why. Prell is a very strong shampoo and I have oily hair, so I can't imagine this stuff is drying my hair out. Other reviews below suggest that it doesn't rinse clean. Maybe that's the case. I don't know. What I know is that my hair is a mess. It feels limp and thin (my hair isn't thick, but it's closer to thick than thin), the ends turn up in different directions and it all sort of sticks together to make it look like I'm wearing a messy toupee. It doesn't look unclean, but it doesn't look good, either. It's hard to describe. Almost as if all the hair on my head "died" and became lifeless. Not a great look.

It's too bad. It really does smell terrific. I will continue to try other sulfate free produts.

I used this a couple of times. I would never buy from this brand anymore. I used it and it looks like I need a hair cut. It made me hair really rough looking and feeling. I have Asian hair so it is really hard to make my hair look bad. I don't need to do much. It look frazzled and horrible. I used Kiss My face Whenever Conditioner as well. Keeping away from this brand.

This is a nice gentle shampoo to use everyday. It does not strip your hair like every other shampoo on the market. I have medium - long naturally straight hair, and it just keeps my hair soft and fresh and smelling so good !
(Doesn't bother my allergies either.)
