This cold cream cleanser is a treat for dry and/or sensitive skin. So gentle and effective at removing makeup. I use it with a warm damp cosmetic sponge to wipe off instead of tissue, and it works just as well.

I use Pond's Cold Cream to remove my makeup every day...and have for years! I've never been a face-washer with soap and water. Pond's is GREAT! I use waterproof mascara and this cold cream removes it beautifully. And it is NOT greasy!! Younger folks are not accustomed to using cold cream...but it is very effective in removing makeup, including the waterproof ones...and moisturizes at the same time. If your skin tends to be oily, just wash after using the cold cream....if your skin is dry, don't wash.

This is so much better than expensive department brand soaps like Clinique's face bar soap. Much better than Cetaphil. I only wish someone told me about this product years ago. I haven't even been using it too long, but I can already see and feel the difference on my skin texture. It's a great skin saver for dry sensitive skin. Extremely gentle yet cleans very well.

ponds cold cream is the best and its super cheap which makes it even better! Its been around forever and is great for removing eye makeup. I was also told to use it as an eye cream, or moisturizer. And it lasts such a long time too!

HAVE TRIED OTHER BRANDS, ALWAYS COME BACK TO PONDS..

I use this product each evening to remove make-up and mascara (not waterproof). It works perfect. The only complain I have it leaves my skin a little bit greasy if I don't wash my face with warm water after removing the cleanser with a warm tissue.

To economize, I am exploring old stand-bys. Pond's Cold Cream with tissues or wet washcloth get the job done without dryness or greasiness, although sometimes an extra dab is needed for mascara removal. Afterward, I use witch hazel to keep my pores small. Cleans better than the vitamin E cleanser from that mall store.

This product is probably best for people with DRY, sensitive skin. I liked that this product is very low-cost (I'm switching from my higher-end cosmetic counter products in order to save some money). I was hoping this product would work for me, since I have sensitive skin....but it didn't work for me since I also have oily, sensitive skin. I know....weird combination: Oily AND sensitive. If I use products that are completely natural, I have had allergic reactions or chemical-type burns. I tried Ponds and found that the product left a very greasy feeling on my face - the product never quite came off my face no matter how many times I tried to wipe it off with a damp washcloth. After my face dried (and I used my toner and my normal moisturizer), my skin still looked greasy. When I applied my makeup, it looked all caked-on even after I washed it with Ponds and my regular toner. I have not had this problem before with my other facial products. Personally, I just don't think that those of us with oily skin can use this product. Disappointing, given all the positive reviews....

For people having a difficult time removing the cold cream, try wiping it off with tissues or cotton wool. If you try to wash it off with water, you're going to have trouble and your face will feel like an oil slick. Wipe it off with tissues or cotton. That's all I do. If you want to, wash with soap and water or use a toner after, but I find it unnecessary. I always thought it was for old ladies, but it's really great stuff.

My mom used it. My grandma used it. For me this is an all-time classic.As to the gal who didn't have any luck with it in a humid environment: I can kind of see that. I've been in that kind of environment and you probably don't need anything very heavy.
