Do not squirt CLEAR CARE directly into your eyes or burning and stinging will result.Do not use flat lens case. CLEAR CARE only works with the special lens case provided. Do not remove lenses from case until at least 6 hours later. The solution needs time to neutralize. Never rinse your contact lenses with CLEAR CARE before your put them in your eyes. If you want to rinse lenses, use sterile saline. There are no known contraindications for use of Clear Care. If you are allergic to any ingredient in this solution, do not use.

I've been wearing contacts since I was 13 (I'm 30 now) and have always had the problem where as the day wears on they start to get dry and annoying. The light and even air start to bug my eyes. Pretty soon I'm dropping eye drops in my contacts like there's no tomorrow and can't wait til I get the buggers out. Finally tried Clear Care solution like I was told to at my last appointment (almost a year and a half ago - still have the sample bottle- seemed like such a hassle!) and OH MY GOSH! It was like the feeling of brand new contacts every morning! I put mine in the clear care at about 7 or 8pm and then use Sensitive solution (Bausch and Laumb) in the morning at about 5 or 5:30am to put them in so definitely the adequate 6 hours to sit. I also have one day a week where I let my contacts sit in the sensitive eyes solution overnight. I don't have to use eye drops anymore and no longer rush to get my contacts out after work!! How crazy is it that a solution would change that? It actually feels good to wear contacts!

This product is somewhat similar to Aosept; you MUST use the special cup and disc with the solution to neutralize it. If you soak or rinse your lenses with this and then insert, you're putting hydrogen peroxide in your eye and it will burn like hell. The instructions on this site should stress that a special lens cup with disc must be used - otherwise people will think it's similar to the clean/store/rinse solutions, which are totally different.

I use this regularly for the deep cleaning action every night. I am sensitive to all other kinds. It is not a big deal that this is a more harsh treatment since it cleans overnight and is ready to use the next day.

Despite having my vision surgically corrected 8 years ago, as I have aged, my right eye does not function well for distance. I recently started wearing a soft contact lens just on that side. When I wore lenses years ago, dry eyes were a constant problem. A few of the medications I take make my eyes dry even without contacts, so I wasn't sure it would work. As predicted,I was using Re-Wetting drops all the time. So AFTER thoroughly reading the instructions, I tried Clear Care, and the results were nothing short of amazing! Now I can wear my 1 contact from early morning to bedtime with no Drops ALL day! It even makes my vision crisp and clear, and so comfy I don't even know I am wearing it! Super easy to use I loved the results so much I have begun using it for my daily disinfecting. It is imperative that you take the few extra minutes required to really read and follow ALL the instructions before you begin using. After using a few times, it became as easy as using just multi-purpose solution, with much improved results. I also use 2 contacts at a time, 1 to be wearing, while the other is soaking and cleaning, so time is not an issue. Mine are monthly disposable, so they end up lasting me at least 2 month since I keep switching back and forth. Wonderful to know I always have a sparkling clean, comfortable lens to use whenever I need it!

Love that I can just put the contacts away at night and don't have to bother rubbing them clean. Just make sure you don't get the solution in your eye until it has sat long enough in the contact case. I have alot of issues with sensitive/dry eyes and this has really helped to keep my contacts clean and wear them for a longer time.

I was an avid user and fan of Clear Care for many years until recently. The lens case was continuing to bubble over, and I could not figure out why. I noticed that the area where I set the lens case on my granite bathroom vanity (which was newly installed) was beginning to flake and pit! The solution was eating away at my beautiful granite countertops! I contacted Ciba Vision and was told that the case will bubble over from the following: rinsing the case with water or use of contact eye drops. I did rinse the case out in the morning and let it dry, but I was told the residue from the water even after dry caused the issue. Even when I rinsed the case with only Clear Care, if my finger was slightly damp, the bubbling still occurred.
I asked Ciba Vision why there was no warning on the package, and was told that they try to update consumer warnings based on feedback. I also pointed out that many users use eye drops, and this was not explicitly clear that eye drops would cause this issue. I now have to give away all the product so further damage is not done.
If you have granite in your bathroom, please be very careful!

I wear soft contact lenses for two week wear. I have tried using a multipurpose solution that allows for less time in between uses and longer lasting solution, but it worked miserably. Unlike multipurpose solutions, this one really does remove protein deposits and leaves the lense feeling clean and comfortable. It is the only cleaning solution that I use now. I also use an additional buildup removal enzyme once a week to extend the lense life to a full month.

This product was a lifesaver! My eyes were red and swollen with all other cleaners. Great for allergies! Warning....do not use solution straight out of bottle. Can burn eyes!
To ensure proper disinfection of your lenses, you must follow the instructions completely. Do not skip any steps. Always wash and rinse your hands before handling your lenses. Please refer to the package insert printed on the inside of this carton for special instructions for RGP lenses.
Remove and place each lens into the appropriately marked L/R domed lens holder. Rinse with Clear Care solution for 5 seconds
Fill the Clear Care lens case to the fill line with Clear Care solution and place the lens holder in the case
Tighten the cap on the Clear Care lens case and store lenses for at least 6 hours. Do not shake the case
Your lenses are ready to wear after soaking for 6 hours. No final rinse with saline is necessary. Dispose of your old Clear Care lens case with each new purchase of Clear Care solution. Always follow your eye care professional's instructions. Please refer to the package insert printed on the inside of this carton for detailed directions and important safety information. Keep Clear Care out of reach of children. Store at room temperature. Once bottle is open, discard any remaining solution after 3 months.
