I've been using this cream for about 2 months and I've noticed flakiness on my cheeks and chin. I have very dry skin, so I don't think this product caused my skin to be flaky, but it certainly didn't help in my attempts to fix it either. I decided to try this because in the summer my dry skin can usually hanlde a lighter face cream, but I guess I need to go back to something more intense.

Wonderful! The only thing I would change is to add SPF. But that's it. I use this for my daily day cream, and I am never looking back!

I love this product - smells great, and feels great on my skin. Unfortunately though, I cannot wear it because I have extremely sensitive eyes, and even though I try to keep all cream away from my eyes, it makes them water and burn. I can't go around looking like I've just had a good cry, so I'm going to try something else. For less sensitive folks, it would be great.

I have been using the basic, very thin, Oil of Olay liquid moisturizer since high school, and that was a great product. However, at 39, I finally decided that i need a more "mature" moisturizer to go with my much more "mature" face. I wanted something not too heavy and cream-like, but heavier that a liquid moisturizer for a teen. This is the perfect product for that. It is very moisturizing, but thin enough that it feels great to put on. It provides the perfect amount of support for my 30-something complexion. Try this if heavy creams are too much for you. Love the smell, and the price is good!! Just bought two more tubs.

I was pleasantly surprised with this product. It is not an oil-free product, so I worried about using it on my combo, breakout-prone skin, but so far, so good. It is light in texture, but still moisturizes well. It is great under makeup, and doesn't make your face shiny. I use it mostly at night because I prefer an SPF moisturizer during the day. I like the scent of it also, which is a masculine, ocean smell. I recently switched my whole skincare rountine to this Alba line with great results. I recommend their cleansing gel, toner and scrub along with this cream.

I also have acne prone skin (I am in my 40's), and have tried so many different moisturizers. My friends love me because they end up getting the very expensive leftovers (I usually only have to use it two or three times before I break out). Not so with this product. I don't notice any increase in breakouts, I don't get that oily slick on my face around mid afternoon, and while there is a scent to this lotion, I happen to like it... but it does stick around. I am online ordering more right now, and thought I would share my thoughts on this product.

This is a great moisturizer. I tried it when my roommate told me how good it is. I used it for a few days, and I love it. It's light on my sensitive combination skin, and it smells great. So, I quickly ordered it and now all my other roommates (4 of us now) are using it, haha!

Using Alba products has prompted me to write my first reviews. They are all great. This moisturizer is the perfect balance for my fair and sensitive skin. It is light, yet keeps my face moist.

I was very skeptical when I first smelled this cream because usually my skin freaks out over fragrances. I have tried other Alba products for the body and have been disappointed with how my skin reacted. However, this product is a gem. My skin is normally dry and flakey, but also prone to clogged pores and some breakouts. Recently, I started a new regiment with fantastic results. Cetaphil cleanser, pure rosewater as a pre-moisturizing spritz or as a toner to remove residual makeup, and this cream twice a day. I've had no allergic reactions, I have considerably fewer congested pores and dry flakes than I used to. The key is to make sure your face is just slightly moist before applying this product, because it really locks in that moisture well. It's a great prep for makeup because it is very effective at moisturizing, but absorbs without leaving the face greasy. I plan to purchase this again when I run out because I have wasted too much money on ineffective products.
