I love this product, however for its price I had to give it a four. However it's very gentle, removes all my makeup with just a little bit, and doesn't smell bad either. I would use it everyday except that it's so expensive.

I have used this product for only a couple days, but I know already that I love it. It does in fact remove ALL makeup when you use a dime size amount on a dry face, massage it in well, and then add warm water to remove it. It leaves my skin so soft and smooth. I hope it continues to improve my skin clarity over the next few weeks. I have combination skin and it doesn't dry too much or cause any oily spots. Well worth the money in my opinion. A smooth, clear face makes your makeup look beautiful; I use Bare Escentuals and the combo is outstanding.

This cleanser is one of the few I've ever tried that truly removes makeup - even mascara. I no longer have raccoon eyes after washing my face! I have oily, acne-prone skin, and I use "Purity made Simple" cleanser at night and "On a Clear Day" cleanser in the morning. My skin has never looked better! If you've been fighting acne-prone skin your whole life, try philosophy products, they're well worth the money.

I LOVE this cleanser but I can't bring myself to pay so much for it. It only lasts me one month, but I think it's amazingly wonderful for those with sensitive skin. It feels very gentle and soothing.

Love it. I am picky and am one of those people who are always trying something new. However, I am on my third bottle. This keeps my skin clear. One thing, you should have a very light moisturizer to go with this even if you are oily. Just promise me you won't use hope in a jar!! I've got lots of people to use this and they are happy too. Don't waste your money on cheap cleansers; this is worth the money. One note: use it dry on your face, then slowly add warm water - it's the only way it feels best.

I am 54 years old and have been spending a lot of time and money in the last few years researching and trying many skincare products on the market!!! I was getting very disgusted with every product that I tried, when I finally found the one and only philosophy purity made simple cleanser!!!! I have since tried many of philosophy products and I absolutely love all of them. My skin hasn't looked this good since I was in my twenties!!! My skin is clearer, blemish free, brighter and glowing!!! People are coming up to me and saying how great that I look and want to know what I have done!!!! I owe it all to philosophy!!!!! This cleanser is not good. If it is a cheap one, I will give it more than one star. However, it is so expensive so I am very disappointed. My skin is combination but tends to be oily. I don't feel so clean after using it. And I actually have more acne problems. I guess it might be better for people who have dry skin. I feel some cleansers in the supermarket are much better than this one. And definitely cheaper.

Love this cleanser! I absolutely will not ever be without it. I was skeptical about spending this much money on a cleanser, but boy was it worth it. I was able to throw out my make-up remover and toner and my skin felt better and cleaner then ever. This will be a staple for me from now on.

Love, love, love this!!! I was wondering if a cleanser was worth this price, but this not only takes the place of my previous cleanser but also my eye makeup remover! No sting...and a VERY clean, fresh feeling is left. My only suggestion to philosophy is to offer a pump instead of the flip top lid.
