I've been using the Philosophy line since February...and I love it. I'm 29 years old and have combination/doesn't know what the heck it wants to do type skin. This is the only stuff out there that I can say I will buy again. Everything I've tried before was a one-time purchase. Purity Made Simple is a beauty staple. Once you try it, you won't want to use anything else! You might have noticed a few negative reviews...to those who say that it doesn't take off makeup, isn't leaving skin clean, or isn't giving them the results they are looking for: Follow the directions on the bottle. MASSAGE it into your skin with your fingers for 45-60 seconds and RINSE WELL. For the first couple of weeks I used purity, I did my typical scrub-and-rinse-in-20-seconds regimen. It was only when I started taking the time to massage the product into my skin that I began to get amazing results. I have combination skin with occasional mild adult acne. I've tried EVERYTHING (including Arbonne and Pro-Active...both a waste of money and wrought havoc upon my skin). The acne is almost non-existent thanks to the Philosophy line and looks better every day. My "time of the month" this month amounted to a total of two very small pimples...a huge change from the painful breakouts I had before. My pores are smaller, skin smoother, and I hardly have to put on any makeup at all (I use the Bare Minerals line of makeup). So, here's my skincare regimen: Wash with Purity Made Simple, moisturize with Hope in a Jar, a little dab of Hope in a Tube around the eyes, and put on the makeup for the day. Once a week I use the Microdelivery Scrub for a quick exfoliation. Do yourself a favor: Try it. :o)

Know how you wash your face with some products and your skin is so dried out from washing, it's tight, and you feel like you need to run to cake on moisturizer. I like luxury without the price tag. I received this as a Christmas gift, and now will never use another facewash. This stuff is amazing. I am 28 years old (worried about aging), with sensitive skin, and gets occasional breakouts. I had my doubts about this product as anything with even a creamy appearance would make my face greasy. Not this!

Really like this for taking off makeup. A good value, as you need only a little to work.

I absolutely LOVE this cleanser! It's the only one I want to use now that I've discovered it....cleans gently and effectively, smells great. I love the whole Philosophy skincare line. Good stuff! The cost is well worth the results on all of their products I've tried so far!

a good gental cleaning solution

This cleanser is nice, but I bought it with the intention of clearing up my acne (I'm 24, and it's very frustrating) because of a website review I read. It didn't clear it up, but it didn't make it worse, either. Basically, it's a cleanser that leaves you with nice, non-dry, healthy skin, but if you need anything else from it, you probably shouldn't invest. My skin is tricky (too dry for most products) and this cleanser left it feeling much healthier, but I did end up breaking out a bit more than before (I had been using a cleanser with acne prevention [SA]). I would still recommend it, though, because it's definitely worth trying. Unlike some other cleansers, if it's not right for you, it still leaves you with healthy skin. I am also a budget buyer, and I must say that even though it seems to be expensive, when you compare it to the seven dollar bottles of shelf-cleansers, it lasts -much- longer, so ends up being about the same price.
