This product rocks. I was hesitant because it's not my typical "oil free foaming" product. Boy I have been missing out. I use this every day. I have found it to be the only cleanser that leaves no residue. I have also noticed that my acne breakouts have decreased a lot since I've been using this. I used to wash my face, then use a toner afterwards, but I no longer need to. I wouldn't say it smells wonderful, but it doesn't smell gross either. Either way, there is no smell once you rinse it off. Don't be put off by the price. I have been using one bottle for months, and I still have almost half left. A little goes a long way.

I use this product after having laser skin resurfacing and, despite, its price, consider it one of the best. I used many other dermatologist and physician directives regarding their products. My combination skin with classic oily T zone responds well. I feel clean, and I can't say that for so many other products. I highly recommend this....especially in the largest sizes. You don't need much. Enjoy.

I have extremely sensitive skin and I thought I would never use anything other than cetaphil, but the first time I cleaned my face with philosophy on a day where I did not use makeup I was shocked at the amount of makeup residue philosophy removed. My skin glowed and felt so smooth afterwards. The product is a teeny bit drying so I use it at night and follow with a rich night cream

i really like this cleanser, it is gentle, gets all my makeup off and leaves my skin feeling clean. i have not had problems with dry skin because i always use a moisturizer after i wash my face. the best thing is that my first bottle lasted a good 10 months or so! great value. great product.

I've always had a hard time finding a cleanser that didn't irritate my sensitive skin or dry it out or break it out. I decided to try Philosophy and am now a total convert! This cleanser is amazing - skin feels fresh and clean! Haven't had any issues with this cleanser at all. I now have a bunch of philosophy products that I'm in love with! My skin just really seems to like Philosophy...FINALLY I have some products that work!

I have very dry and break-out prone skin and this is a nice cleanser - I'm always hesitant to try something new, but it was not overly drying and it didn't leave me feeling like my skin was dirtier than when I started (yep, tried some like that - ugh!) You only use a little bit and the bottle is big, so value-wise it isn't as bad as it seems.
