This product has helped me to smooth out irritability and related mood symptoms often associated with menopause. I notice a tremendous difference when I take it and have not had to resort to traditional "hormone" therapy from my doctor because of DHEA. This product is a progesterone which, in women, the body naturally turns into an estrogen. In a sense, I suppose it is a mild hormone therapy, although I am not a scientist. I can only share my personal experience, which is that my mood and temperament swings, which were shockingly severe when I entered menopause, are under control. My family is eternally grateful.

I use this as I had a bilateral adrenalectomy and there are medical studies that show that the replacement of DHEA after such a surgery helps those patients. I like this brand as it helps me keep my levels up without fillers. As DHEA is a percursor hormone that converts to testosterone and estrogen, my doctor makes sure that he tests all those hormones as well. This brand has been very consistent for me to stay on an even levels with all. I take it in the evening. I have been using this for about 6 years and really like it.

I started taking DHEA around 15 years ago. I started growing stronger nails in 3 or 4 months. People were astonished when they noticed my long & strong nails. My nails were always fragile - - even as a teen, but no more.
