this curler is good, it doesn`t damage hair.it get very hot but take time to heat up.i have wavy hay hair,it is good and take off any frizz.it does the job but it is not too hot like chi brands. i bought to use it overseas as it`s dual voltage, but i didn`t try yet . i just use here in USA.

I ordered this product under the model number CD89SCS 4 times and was sent CD89WCS which if your are a female who's devoted to a product that you know works for you do not want a substitution that does not compare and causes damage. I hope they correct the problem with this model number either you have the product or you don't. The model number needs to match the product that you actually have so you don't get your hopes up and constantly get let down when you open you package 4 different times.

Thankful to drugstore.com for having this product available. I bought two other curling irons in stores hoping they would work and was so disappointed with the outcome. This curling iron is the only one that works on my frizzy hair and gives me the results I need. I was elated to find it on your website. You're a lifesaver!

This iron really heats up fast & gets extremely hot. I bought it to replace my last Conair that finally broke after many years of service. It has a large barrel so you're not going to get tight curls. If smooth soft curls are what you want...this is the iron for you. I agree that the kickstand does get in the way when you're trying to use it. So I only use it when it's heating up. Then I fold it up & lay it one a towel. I think the secret to lasting curl is to apply gel before drying hair. Great product for the money

This is a great curling iron and the price is right. I almost purchased a more expensive iron, but read the great reviews and went with this one. I don't regret it.

I love this curling iron! I actually had it for about 10 years, and then the spring broke on the handle. Couldn't find this exact one in stores, so I purchased 2 others and returned them cause I didnt like them. Found this one on drugstore.com and was so excited! Ordered it right away, and I still love it! I have long thick hair, and it works really well on it:)

OK for quick touch ups but didn't provide really great, strong curls. And it died for no reason! It just stopped working in a few months. its now part of the landfills.
