I liked the smell and it went on smooth, but it made my lips worse! At first I thought maybe it wasn't the balm, but I chose a day where my lips were smooth, applied the stuff, and within an hour my lips were cracked and bleeding! Overall, I wouldn't buy it again.

This is a great product! It moisturizes and gives a light shine (not really glossy). I can still feel it working several hours after using it. It doesn't feel waxy at all. It's much better than Chapstick, and not much more expensive (depending on where you buy it from).

I tried this as a recommendation. It really does what it says. I use it at night and wakeup with soft lips. My lips have a tendency to peel and feel rough. I noticed that my lipstick goes on easier and the peeling has stopped. For any and all Bare Essential users (YOU know who you are), this is a wonderful alternative to using the pricey lip balms offered by that company. I highly recommend this item to anyone wanting a lip balm with a touch of shine and SPF to boot.
