I like having everything in one unit and I find the lancing device to be superior. If I could improve one thing, it would be to have a better capillary action to the test strips. The price here was much better than others I checked

Purchased thinking I would be able to try it out. This is not the case. Meter DOES NOT come with the stated 1 Test Drum for 17 tests, nor does it come with the Control Solution. So, if you're planning on making this purchase, also plan on paying full price for a Drum. Would seem the incredible savings goes towards the purchase of the Drum.

The page said there have a 17 drum inside, but it is lie, nothing there except 10 of Lancets. so it would not work. it seems that the drum has to be ordered separately. So I NEVER suggest anyone order it.

Nowhere in the information did I see that the $40 dollars-worth of non-returnable test strips I ordered were incompatible with the meter. Nor can I use the strips with any of my other meters.

compared to old technology blood sample is much smaller and thus less painful, major con is finding the correct lanclets locally and there is no warning that the test drum is almost empty so if you are traveling check beforehand because when you run out you are out, but having used for 11 months now I find the unit reliable and handy if at home, too large when traveling, kit was given to me by my doctor after she saw what I had been using. You also want to keep instructions handy in case you need to reprogram for daylight savings time, etc. Without the instructions you will not logic through the process.
