I've been using this product for years, and I love it. I don't find powder flaking all over the place. I can blend it with my finger. When I accidentally rub my eye, it doesn't wear off like powder does.

I went to a creme shadow because it works better on more mature skin. I look a bit younger than my 53 years, but I still have some crinkles around my upper lids and creme shadow doesn't exagerate crinkles. This shadow goes on easily with just your finger and you can apply it lightly or more darkly for more drama. It's not exactly smudge-proof, but as long as you don't have any excess moisture around your eyes, it lasts pretty well. You may need to reapply at some point, but it's so smooth that reapplication is easy and looks fresh. If creasing is a major problem, as some reviews mention, then I would suggest some eye shadow primer or a little bit of face powder dotted in the crease area..

I only use this if I am having a day where I only wear maskara. I have to use a primer to hold it in place. It is true to being very sheer and for the natural look. I need a little more color for me.

I am a repeat buyer of this creamy eye shadow. Why did I ever use powder? Save a brush - use your finger. This doesn't crease or fade out. This color set is my favorite- I have blue eyes but as it is neutral shades- anyone should be fine with this product.

I've always been a makeup junkie, so I'm always sure there's going to be something better out there, especially if I buy a more expensive brand...but I always come back to this product. The colors are great, because they range from a very light beige that you can wear all over your lid if you just want a little color when you run to the grocery store, to a very neutral tan that you can put on with a little highlight for casual wear to a very dark brown that you can apply for a more dramatic look when you go out. I don't have much problem with creasing...certainly not as much as I've had with much more expensive brands. You know you've found a keeper when you have a whole drawer ful of makeup, and it's the thing you tend to grab every time you start to do your eyes!

I love these sheer colors and the soft natural look. I don't use an applicator (brush or sponge) to apply, just my ring finger to spread a bit of color at a time. There are so many pretty pallets to choose from I'm having a hard time deciding which to buy next. If you find it creases too soon, try using a shadow primer such as Decrease by L'Oreal which you can order here at drugstore.com. A primer will work with any type of shadow, cream or powder and keep it from creasing or fading all day.

Those women that commented that it creases right away were applying it wrong! Use your finger and apply a very light, minimal amount. I think it's supposed to be light and it is really eye brightening! Like another person said, it lasts about ten hours, it takes only seconds to reapply, I love it! ...I'm in the military, we can't wear crazy shadows, but I still want to feel feminine in uniform, this shadow is PERFECT! :)

I love this stuff. Yes, it will crease-eventually- it last about 10 hours on me before it creases. Even then it is in the crease of my eyelid and doesn't show unless I close my eyes. Those who have a problem are putting it on too thick. It was not designed to be applied that way. It is meant to be be applied lightly with a finger. The colors are MEANT to be sheer; that is the whole point. This shadow gives a light wash of color that looks very pretty but is not for those who want a vibrant look. This is great for people like me who need to wear make-up for work, but want a subtle look, and are not highly skilled in make up application.

Try these three great eye looks!

For a wear-anywhere look: Smooth on a light shade over entire lid, from lash line to brown bone. Then apply a medium shade on the lid up to the crease. Blend with a darker shade in the crease.
For a soft color wash: Sweep one vibrant color on lid and into crease. Blend out to sheer color above crease. Build richer color by lining eyes on the top and bottom with same shade.
For a smoky, sultry look: Using a brush or sponge-tip applicator, line eye at top and bottom lash line all the way around with a deep shade. For a bright-eyed look, apply a light shade the same way.
