This stuff is simply great! I have thick, curly hair that tends to dry out and look lifeless even after using leave-in conditioner. I just massaged the Biosilk therapy into my hair when it was toweled dry, before using my hair gel. My hair is soft, shiny and bouncy all day! I have been getting compliments on my hair, and I love this stuff.

My hair stylist introduced me to this product and I initially loved the silkiness it gave to my medium-to-coarse relaxed hair and thusly purchased the 11.6 oz bottle on two occasions. During the last use, I realized I didn't care for the gluey like build up. It became evident that I could only use the product after washing my hair and not 3 or 4 days in a row without getting a sticky build-up. It also doesn't maintain a shine for my dull, dry-looking hair color. I'm going to try Philip B. and hope that Shine product works better for me.

I might never have bought this on my own (received a sample from a salon) -- especially after reading how well it seems to work on thick, coarse, and curly hair. My hair is short, thin, straight, and baby fine. This is the first product of any kind that I've found that works for me. I put a little bit in my wet hair before drying and it gave a little bit of body and very nice shine when dry without looking oily or feeling stiff or sticky. Then I added a little more in my dry hair to see what it would do -- upped the shine but it doesn't look at all greasy, gave it more body, and let me "style" it a little on top. A little later, I decided to add even more of this stuff and it just improved it further. I was sure the 3rd dose would give me a greasy feel or finally weigh on my hair enough to flatten back out the body but instead -- even better. I tried it hoping for shine and got that and so much more!

This really didn't work for me at all. Never made my hair shiny or make anything easier soft or manageable. I have 4c type curly hair and I think that maybe why. It was in fact very drying for me because it has a lot of alcohol in it.

I use this after I flat iron my thick, wavy hair. It really makes it soft and shiny. My hair does not appear damaged at all. Using the right amount is key- too little and the straightening doesn't hold well; too much and my hair looks greasy.

This stuff is the best for blowing out or flat ironing coarse, curly hair! My salon used it on me so I bought some and I've been using it for years. It may seem expensive but even the worst hair only needs a few drops at a time and one bottle can last literally two or three years! It has a really addictive smell too.

Serums are not all that different from one another in my experience, but I think this one is my favorite. It's not too heavy, it really imparts shine and smoothness, and the smell is light and pleasant. A little goes a long way so the cost isn't prohibitive. I used this in conjunction with Sebastian Laminates Gel and I get tons of compliments on my glossy, smooth hair!

This is the first product that I've ever used that really makes a noticeable difference to my hair. My hair is coarse and naturally curly (frizzy too). When I use silk therapy on my wet hair and let my hair dry naturally the curls are very soft and not frizzy. And when I apply the silk therapy to my wet hair, then blow dry and straighten with the ceramic straightener...my hair is softer and shinier than it has ever been. I have actually had people comment on the difference in my hair, and others that actually come up and touch it to feel the softness. So this product is not only great for your hair...it doesn't hurt your self-esteem either!!! :)

This product is great. I have curly hair and only use this product when I blow-dry straight. I put it on after I use a flat iron and it shines like never before. A little goes a very long way. Also, another tip...in summer I put a little on my shoulders and chest to give me a slight glow; it looks amazing.
