I keep this in the bathroom to use on a daily basis. My kids and I like the texture of it. It has no real fragrance and goes on easily, which helps us use it regularly.

This is one of very few high-quality body lotions I been able to find that contain a sun screen. Very necessary today with our increasing skin cancer rates. Please make sure that all of your beauty products for exposed areas of your body contain sun screen.

For an everyday lotion this is the best! It is thick with a nice consistency, but is easy to apply and is quickly absorbed by your skin. It is not greasy at all. The added sun protect is a great bonus. However, when I know I'm going to be outside in direct sunlight for an extended period of time, I use a sunscreen with a higher SPF on top of this.

So far, every Alba product I have tried I have been extremely impressed by, this lotion included. The absence of all the chemical-based toxins is another great selling point.

The smell is nothing special, but it's definitely not a deal breaker for me. I am a hugh fan of this lotion and would recommend it to anyone.

I have combination skin that can sometimes break out. In a pinch, I used this sunscreen on my face as well as body. It left no oily residue and protected my skin both days this weekend while I was in the mid day sun for a couple of hours. I am very impressed that it is both gentle and effective, and am considering using it as my go-to sunscreen all the time (even for my face). The odor is almost non-existent which I like. Other Alba lotions I had tried smelled so strongly of grapeseed oil, I couldn't use them.

How can a product claim to be natural when it contains synthetic chemicals 'Methylparaben, Propylparaben' in its ingredients that cause cancer?

Switched from a non-SPF body lotion which I use daily after shower to provide more protection from unplanned sun exposure. Surprised at how moisturizing it is and like that it is virtually fragrance free. All perfect for the summer!

Actually, I love the smell! There are lots of good body lotions, but I especially like this one for the aroma.

I did some research for a daily moisturizer containing SPF, and this brand was reviewed highly as one of the more natural.

My intention was/is to apply it daily for additional sun protection, but I don't use it for my face so it's only really good for the summer, for me. I also haven't used it on my legs after shaving, as I have sensitive skin and fear I might have a reaction to it (although I haven't yet).

The product itself is ok. Like most sunscreens, it's a little "chalky", in that you have to use a lot to really feel like you have coverage. It's not what I'm used to with typical moisturizers, but that's ok for me because I'm not really using it in that way. It's not greasy, and it absorbs pretty well into my skin. I still use my usual moisturizers at night for dry skin, as needed, so this is more for daily sun protection.

There's no way to tell for sure if a sunscreen is working, but it does seem as if this serves that purpose. I do have to wonder, though, about the shelf life of the sunscreen in this bottle, since I have heard that most sunscreens should be replaced every year. I have a lot of this product left over and probably won't be using it again until next summer - I wish it came in a smaller bottle.

It's worth noting that as of this review Alba has not had any parabens in this product for over a year, and if you buy a new bottle the listed ingredients reflect that change. It's still not quite as purely good for the user and planet as I wish it could be & remain so lovely & effective but trying to avoid parabens kept me from buying more after trying & liking the old version- now I'm back to this for my everyday lotion.
