I like how little I need to use of this shave gel. The only thing I don't like about it is when I"m done shaving and I rinse my legs off, they are a little filmy. The film rinses off easily though with a little soap.

Yuck!! This stuff is the worst. I thought I knew what to expect after reading other reviews (use sparingly; doesn't foam, obviously) but boy was I disappointed. It doesn't allow the razor to glide smoothly across the skin, so didn't provide me with a close shave and I ended up with razor burn. Seriously, I've had better shaves using hair conditioner or plain soap when I've run out of my regular shaving foam . Even with using a small amount it gunked up my razor. I would give it 0 stars if that were an option. This stuff will be going straight in the garbage.

I love this brand for it's more 'natural' ingredients, so wanted to try the shave cream. It's good quality, but I don't like that it clogs up my razor. Other brands don't seem to do that. It does say 'use sparingly' in the directions, so maybe I need to try using less and see if that helps. It has a great scent, though.

I have very sensitive skin and am also allergic to many things. I have tried many products and found this one on this site and have to say it works great. The only problem is that it requires more cleaning of the blade while shaving, but that is minor.

I LOVE this scent and it moisturizes very well.. But, I find this is too thick for shaving larger areas - like legs - as it quickly clogs up my razor. For under the arms, it's fine.

It's a learning curve. The directions say to use sparingly and that's what they mean. It's hard to judge the proper amount in the beginning and then trust that thin layer is all that is needed. Go figure, it works just as they say it does. With each shave I'm learning how much to apply and how often I have to rinse the razor and with each shave the end result is better. Not a complaint, but I could do without the vanilla smell. I'm just saying... Absolutly Recommend.

To use: For unequaled shaving ease, rinse skin thoroughly with warm water, leaving wet for a few minutes. Using a small amount of Alba Cream Shave, apply a thin, transparent layer over damp skin. Shave normally, rinsing razor periodically.

Note: Performs best when used sparingly.
