I have been an aficionado of mineral foundations for the last three plus years. However, I have always had a problem with their ultra sheer consistency which doesn't stay all day. I was on the lookout for something that would have the same natural look and that would have better staying power than the mineral makeups. After reading reviews on this and other websites, I decided to take the plunge and try this. I must say that I am glad I took the other user's advice and tried this wonderful product. The formula gives light-med. coverage and stays on beautifully, plus it really makes my skin look flawless and gives very natural color. I absolutely love this product and will gladly buy again. Only small beef is that the small applicator sponge gets dirty really quickly and Maybellines doesn't seem to offer any refills for the compact. I wish they would start doing this as there seems to be enough loyal users of Purestay. Oh well, small price to pay for such a great makeup!

I used to buy Artistry pressed powder, but it's more expensive than this, so I was looking for something I liked that would be less expensive, but still nice. I have not been disappointed. This is a great powder. I like it even better than Artistry! It goes on so smooth and covers so well. I have a lot of freckles, and I got the Golden color which blends so nicely between my freckles and the rest of my face. It also still looks nice after wearing for a few hours and even after being outside in the 90 degree hot FL sunshine. My other makeup always looked blotchy after being out in the sun. The SPF in this makeup is an added plus. I just wish Drugstore.com carried the Golden color. They don't offer enough of the colors on this website.

I have been using this product for over a year, and I like it so much. It covers imperfections and evens out my skin tone, without feeling heavy or caking-up. No break-outs either. I had to try a few colors until I found the perfect match, but now that I have, I will never switch to another product.

I was looking for a convenient foundation to replace what I normally use, which is Bare Escentuals minerals foundation. Although I was pretty happy with the bare minerals foundation, it was messy and inconvenient to use loose powder foundation when on the go and traveling. I found this product and with all the 5 star reviews I had to give it a try. I just bought it and have only used it once, and I love it! It instantly reduced shine and had even, natural coverage and there is no need to follow up with a translucent setting powder. With the bare minerals foundation, I always had to use something on top to take off the shine. To me, the dewy, glowing look many makeup products are going for just make you look greasy and weird. Although I can tell that each compact will run out pretty quickly, it still works wonders and I can use it daily whether on the go or at home. Note to Maybelline: could use shades with more yellow undertones to complement Asian skin.

Excellent product. This covers blemishes and discoloration very well. I prefer this to powder foundations three times the price. It controls oil well, it is so easy and quick to apply. Gives a matte finish with just a slight healthy glow to the skin. No visible sparkles. It also has some SPF, which is a nice bonus. It is also one of the few powder foundations that doesn't cause my sensitive skin to itch.

This is the Holy Grail of all foundations. It's totally amazing. It's a powder foundation that does not accentuate dry/flakey skin. Extremely easy to apply and blend, it provides medium to full coverage of skin imperfections. The end result is perfect, flawless skin. I don't need to use a concealer, nor a separate powder when I wear this. Moreover, this foundation controls my super-oily t-zone, even after a workout at the gym! I have very sensitive, acne-prone skin, so I need to be careful about what I use on my face. I haven't had a problem at all with this. It's labeled "nonacnegenic." So you shouldn't have a problem with breakouts from using this product. I recommend this to everyone. Maybelline, don't ever discontinue this stuff!

I had to try this product. It worked great. I have oily/sensitive skin, and usually break out from the tiniest things, but this didn't make my skin red and blotchy. It evened out my skin tone and made me look flawless, very happy. I have been trying multiple foundations and powders for a while, wasting my money. Now I won't have to look anymore. I've found the perfect product.

This powder makes my face look so nice. I have a very uneven skin tone and this powder does wonders for that! Looks fresh and clean, doesn't feel heavy and lasts and lasts! I have been using this powder for three years and cringe whenever I use anything else because I'm so spoiled by this powder! I have all my friends and family hooked on this stuff! Save your money and buy it, it's far better than even department store brands!

Great Stuff!! Doesn't break out my combination/sensitive skin. Still looks good at the end of the work day - 12 hours later! I bought the Nude a month ago and had to come back and buy the darker shade to have on hand for summer. No more liquid streaky makeup for me. It gives a smooth finish without looking heavily made up, and does well evening out skin tones. I'm very happy with this product; much better than I expected from Maybelline.

This is great stuff. It works so well for sensitive skin or to even things out without wearing a lot of heavy make up. It's the only stuff I use.
